Music recomendations

Hi Ladies,

Just wondering if you have any music that you find comforting or empowering during this TTC struggle? I find music really helps me overcome the hard days, so I would love some more suggestions.

For me I listen to a lot of Sarah Groves & Ginny Owens (both Christian artists) and I particularly find solace in "If you want me to"

I also really love the song "Thousand Years" (I've never seen twilight, so that probably ruins this song for most people) I like to sing this one to future baby, just recognizing that every day has been a struggle, and this last year has felt like a thousand years, but I will love this little one so much more if (hopefully) they ever come along. 


Any suggestions? I could really use some more go to playlists.

Me 34 DH 36 Married since July 2010 
MFI (High DNA Fragmentation) & Mild endometriosis
TTC #1 since June 2015 
Aug 2016 - May 2017  6 IUI's with letrozole - BFN
April 2017 - laparoscopy to remove mild endo
June 2017 - Mini IVF letrozole 12.5mg, Gonal-F 75IU - Cancelled early ovulation, no eggs retrieved. 
Aug/Sept 2017 - Mini IVF letrozole 12.5mg, Gonal-F 75IU, cetrotide - 13 eggs retrieved, 11 mature
5 eggs ICSI'd 6 eggs frozen - 1 day 5 blast transfered, 2 expanded blast frozen - BFP!
May 2018 - Baby girl born - Our Joy

TTC #2 since July 2019
July 2019 - FET - BFN
Jan 2020 - FET - canceled due to family health issues
Mar 2020 - FET - low beta - chemical pregnancy
July 2020 - ICSI'd remaining 6 eggs - 3 fertilized - 2 survived to early blast stage, transfered both - Chemical Pregnancy

    i'm going to follow this thread to see what songs other people like :smile: i love music but havent really connected with any songs in particular regarding TCC so i'm interested to see what others say..... Thousand Years is a great one tho!

    @ReesaAnne16 I love Oceans by Hillsong (Christian Artist) and Three Little Birds by Bob Marley is good for me too. I also have a Hillsong station on my Pandora and have found it pretty uplifting during challenging periods.

    On the Pandora and Spotify app there is an Infertility playlist. It's pretty awesome. There's even some skits from the musical, Infertility, the musical that's hard to conceive. Here is a link to one of the skits you'll hear: click

    I don't know if I have connected with any song specifically regarding TTTC, but my go-to for any type of stress is the band Nickel Creek, as well as some of the band members' individual albums...Chris Thile, Sean Watkins.  I find all of it super therapeutic in general.  One specific one that I really like when I am stressed is 'Let It Fall' by Sean Watkins.

    @StephyM89 Great suggestion! I love that song (really all of his songs). I've never thought about it in that way before, but now I will :)
