  • @chels0120 she actually mentioned I was just borderline at 24 at first and then came back right as we were checking out and said it was higher in one of the pockets and the doctor reviewed the ultrasounds more in depth and is now classifying me as high risk. She didn't mention the new number though. I will make sure to find out next week. I am going to check out that website! Thank you!

  • @Lynna813 no problem! I'm an ultrasound tech so I was curious what they classified as poly for you. There are lots of reasons for it a many of them are NO BIG DEAL so don't let it scare you :)
  • Thank you @chels0120 I am actually curious to know now. I will call them tomorrow and let you know. I was somewhat fine until I logged on to my patient portal saw that word and googled it. I seriously don't know why I did that. Should have known better. Here are the notes that were on my patient portal from today.

    • Encounter for supervision of normal first pregnancy, third trimester
    • Large for dates complicating pregnancy in third trimester, antepartum
    • Polyhydramnios in third trimester, antepartum

  • 35+3

Had appt tuesday with the nurse and will go weekly here on out. She said my cervix is soft and u/s showed baby head down. Abdominal measurement is a week ahead. Doctor was on vacation so excited to see her at my 36+3 appt next Thursday where I will finally be full term! Hoping for some dilation because I really don't want to go to 41w like I did with my DD.

Moved the desk to the basement to make room for the baby swing and I am not sure I can do it yet. I am still so scared something is going to happen to her. I am so so done with basically holding my breath for 9 months and being afraid day in and day out.
  • mrsmommya I know exactly how you feel. Our highchair arrived yesterday. My MIL purchased it for us. My husband was so excited and wanted to put it together. I told him to please wait as my eyes filled up with tears. I wanted to put it together but I just couldn't do it. I know its not healthy to be stressed or worried something can go wrong. I asked my husband to please keep the box for the crib after he put it together. After a few weeks of the giant box being in the garage I was ready to throw it out and I felt at peace about it. Little steps. I have however kept boxes for other stuff and receipts and have also left certain things packaged.  I wish that wasn't our mindset :( It truly does stink!  I told myself if we get another chance to have another baby after this one I will enjoy it to the fullest without fear.

@bostonbaby1 thank you for that! It does make me feel a lot better knowing that. I am looking forward to each appt now more than before and will be monitoring her movement even more than I do now.

  • @Weville my baby is on the chunky side too! He is measuring 7lbs at my 35 week scan. I got my growth scan report but my doctor hasn't said anything to me. I see her on Tuesday and I'm trying not to trying not to worry. Hearing that big babes sleep longer and eat more is very reassuring!

    July16 JULY siggy challenge

  • Guys, I've gotten really bad about just reading everyone's and not putting my own anymore. Even though it was decided forever ago to move my due date up a week (making him due on the 3rd) my OB has randomly decided he is going back to using the initial date (the 10th). So that's annoying. He is still consistant measuring between the 84th and 97th percentile. Tuesday's  appointment will be interesting, as I am a little lost and annoyed with some stuff (like the fact that induction has been decided on for the 1st for awhile and now he said *maybe* the 5th). I really just wanted to add that I was dx'd with polyhydramnios as well (I had been dx'd with it when I was pregnant with the twins, before we lost them), but not until around 35 weeks...and not much has been said other than "that's going to make quite the splash when your water breaks!" Lol And when I mentioned that it felt like I could feel him moving more, she said bigger babies often have more fluid and like to take full advantage of moving as much as possible in the fluid, especially when room is getting sparse. I hadn't heard of anyone else having it (unless I've just missed it).
  • @joberkiser My doctor said that active babies tend to stay active when I asked (because mine is one hyper little guy in there). He's also on the big side and I have highish fluid levels (but not polyhydraminos)
