This is half rant of a crying, hormonal pregnant woman and half PSA. Did you guys know that Motherhood Maternity has a 30 day return policy? Anyone know if that is kind of lenient?
As a surprise gift, My parents bought me way too many maternity clothes, half of which don't fit and the others are exact replicas of stuff someone already gave me used in good condition. The closest store is an hour away without traffic, but considering Atlanta traffic, it can turn into a 2-3 hour trip. Well... We've been crazy busy this past month and haven't had a spare weekend to make that journey. Now the 30 day window is over and I feel so bad. It is probably over $200 worth of stuff, so I feel like the worst, most unappreciative daughter ever and I'm crying about it at 1:30 am. I'm also a tad frustrated with my parents, because I told them over and over to please not buy me maternity clothes because I have had so many recently pregnant friends give me nice used stuff for free, but they show up with so much stuff anyway. agh!! I feel even worse/rude for complaining about a gift so I'll just stop and wahhhhh!. (More pregnant lady tears).
Re: Motherhood maternity return policy
You can most likely return unworn items, if the tags are still on past 30 days/policy time, but would be exchange or store credit only. That's what's typical in the retail industry. If you have the receipt they should honor the price paid; if not, they'll give you whatever price the items ring in at on the day you return them.
Maybe call first just to be sure!
