So I had my first ultrasound last night and the Dr said baby is fine, but I have a subchorionic hemorrhage....it's small, 1cm but he's ordering an ultrasound every week to see what happens. No lifting, no sex, no nothing just work and rest as much as posisble. How freaked out should I be??

I had a large SCH diagnosed at 5.5 weeks after having bleeding and cramping. It was monitored on weekly to bi-weekly ultrasounds until it had fully resolved around 13 weeks. I'm now just over 20 weeks with twin boys!
An SCH that does not reabsorb and that continues to grow can cause a separation of the placenta from the uterine wall so they are usually monitored to ensure they are shrinking or at least remaining stable. Bed rest has been shown to not make a huge difference in the outcome but is still pretty commonly prescribed.
I was put on pelvic rest as well as a precaution. Try to not stress they are pretty Common
