Baby stuff? Meh, a little laundry to do. Oh and those pesky thank you cards...
Rants/ raves /symptoms? Yesterday was mine and my husband's fourth wedding anniversary so he made me chocolate chip pancakes with fresh blackberries, we went to the rhododendron gardens for a long walk with our dog, went record and book shopping, and went to see Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf in the theater. It was a glorious day, though I had the single most intense contraction yet during the movie (during the climax of the movie no less) which threw me a little. Other than that, a lot of prelabor symptoms but no real action.
Oh and if anyone else is suffering from the pain and swelling in the nether regions due to baby's head being so far down, I discovered the joy of sitting with an ice pack between my legs and it really helps.
GTKY: What are your weekend plans? Rest. Bake a cake for my mom's birthday dinner. Make my husband a father's day card. Rest more.
Baby stuff? Another weekly BPP Thursday. This week baby b was being difficult and wouldn't breathe while baby a had hiccups so bad he was shaking everything inside me. The doctor said that they won't stop labor after 34 weeks with twins, which is today. Slightly terrifying.
Rants/ raves /symptoms? Contractions and back pain. Ouch. Had a bout of nausea earlier in the week that I'm hoping has passed.
GTKY: What are your weekend plans? Hanging stuff on the walls of the babies' room. Finishing up my hospital bag. It could be any time with these twins!
I'm still joining in dang it! How many weeks?: He will be one week old tomorrow. WHOA! Haha smaller than a Pomeranian or ukulele which is his comparable size if he was still inside.
Baby stuff?: We had his first pediatrician appointment yesterday and he is almost back to his birthweight! Hurray!
Rants/ raves /symptoms? Sleeping in any position I want is a huge rave!
GTKY: What are your weekend plans? People want to visit little dude. I want to get in a good nap at some point today. No big Father's Day plans just us hanging out together!
DH is putting together all the stuff we got from the shower--- bouncer, swing, pack n play etc... I've got a work "retreat" (pool party) at a co-workers which I found out is also a little bit of a shower for me... I'm planning on showing up for a few hrs and getting outta dodge--- over 100 degrees here in Vegas and I woke up feeling a little wonky. Induction is scheduled for June 28th... I'm still trying to come to terms with not being able to go full term... Baby was in the 30th percentile in May and dropped to 10th at my growth scan so doc wants her out. I so wanted to go into labor on my own and go Med-free so I'm trying hard to just have a "go with the flow" attitude.
Normal preggo stuff... I've been so freakin lucky that I truly can't complain.
Getting everything together and ready to go... Going to FiL's tomorrow late afternoon for dinner and that's it.
Most baby stuff is done. I have a little laundry left and should do some housecleaning...
Swelling feet, tired...I'm getting super excited as time moves on!!! People keep asking me if I'm getting nervous and I'm not feeling that...just excitement.
Today I will be hanging out in the AC and hopefully going on a long walk later when the sun goes down. Tomorrow dinner with husband and more relaxing....
This will be my last week of work. In Norway there is a mandatory three week leave before EDD and I am just counting the hours till I can stop pretending to work.
Rave: Baby has dropped and I can breathe again! Rant: Baby is being inappropriate with my splen or liver. Every now and then it feels like I am being pulled apart from the inside.
Our bathroom remodeling is almost done and we are building our bookshelf this weekend. 7 monthes of remodeling is come to an end, finally!
and @theshannondee, I love your updates, keep the coming!
36 weeks! I know technically I'm not, but I've been saying I'm officially 9 months because I like the way it sounds
Had my baby shower today, and my family was so so so generous! I was expecting a lot of clothes, diapers and wipes but all I got were big items like a swing, bouncer, even a travel system!
I wanted to go swimming tomorrow but doesn't look like that's happening.
Baby stuff? 34 week appt. Need to make a hospital packing list and review our birth plan from last time. May look at installing the car seat soon.
Rants/ raves /symptoms? My stomach is sore today like it suddenly stretched a lot. I didn't even get stretch marks with DD and carried to 41.5 weeks and I've had some since about 32 this time. I feel like baby's running out of room. It's getting hard to get off the couch on my own too. I feel a lot more pregnant than I did last time around.
GTKY: What are your weekend plans? Church, visiting friends, steak dinner for DH's Father's Day
Baby stuff? Prenatal class on Tuesday and a cervical sweep on thurs. Fingers crossed it Kickstart something.
Rants/ raves /symptoms? My belly doesn't look like he's dropped, but I really feel like he has. Woke up this morning and felt like a bowling ball is sitting on my cervix. My lower hips are waaaay more sore I can even feel the difference in my tailbone. Feeling alright otherwise, just typical aches and pains and heartburn.
GTKY: What are your weekend plans? Not much. Did groceries this morning and camped out on the couch for the rest of the day. Tomorrow we go visit my FIL for Father's day and then hit up an Indian food buffet for lunch. I don't have high hopes of inducing labour, but I'm really excited because this place has awesome butter chicken.
Re: Saturday Ticker Change
38, pomeranian or ukulele sized.

Next appt is on Wed which I am super anxious about. With my last two pregnancies I was sent straight to L&D at this appt.
I'm pretty over being pregnant. This kid is putting so much pressure on my back, sciatic nerve, and crotch that I keep getting nauseous and dizzy.
We are hanging low at the house. My 3yr old is sick and I'm too exhausted and sore to do much else.

My nausea has seemed to get stronger, I had to add another anti nausea medication and it kinda sucks. And huge feet.

We saw family all weekend. Nothing too exciting.
