Introducing myself - TTC 7 months - PCOS

Hi everyone, my name is Brooks!  I am 30 years old, married to my favorite guy in the world (3 years in July) and we started TTC in December.  After several months without a period, I was diagnosed with PCOS with ultrasound in March.  Still sort of sorting through my diagnosis emotionally, but moving forward!  I've done 2 rounds of Provera and just did my first round of Clomid.  In the middle of my 2 week wait now!  Pretty sure I ovulated...I hope so, anyway!  Really hoping I'm not imagining my symptoms, but my temp is up and I've had lots of cramping, etc.  Anyway, I am happy to be here, I have been driving my husband slightly crazy with all of the TTC talk, so he'll be happy I can unload a little here instead :smiley: 
Married for 5 years, TTC for 3 years
PCOS, Low AMH, Endo, Uterine Fibroids, Low Estrogen...
and a Partridge in a Pear Tree.

    @BWhitta - welcome to the board! I've been a regular on the bump for almost a year now and find the boards very helpful in venting all the TTC energy. I am about to start my first Clomid cycle next cycle. How did you do on the Clomid?
    Me: 33 DH: 31
    DS: 5 years old
    TTC #2 since August 2015
    July 2016: Testing cycle with 100 mg Clomid = BFN
    August 2016: 50 mg Clomid + IUI = BFN
    October 2016: IVF#1 - 13 retrieved / 12 mature /  9 fertilized / 2 blasts
    November 2016: FET#1 = chemical
    January 2017: FET#2 = chemical
    March 2017: IVF#2 - 18 retrieved / 18 mature / 16 fertilized / 5 blasts
    April 24, 2017: FET#3 - BFN
    May 24, 2017: FET#4 - BFP! - Beta #1 151 - Beta #2 503 - Due date 2/9/18

    Cycle 3: Letrozole 2.5mg- BFN
    Cycle 4: Letrozole 5mg- BFN
    Cycle 5: HSG-normal
                  Clomid 100mg+ Estrace- BFN
    Cycle 6: Letrozole 5mg+Trigger shot+IUI+Progestrone- BFN
    Cycle 7: Letrozole 5mg, Cyst found during follicle check
    Cycle 8: Birth control to treat left ovary cyst
    Cycle 9: Letrozole 7.5mg+Trigger shot+IUI+Progesterone- BFN
    Cycle 10: Letrozole 7.5mg, 2 Cysts found during follicle check
    Cycle 11: Clomid 100mg+Estradiol+Trigger shot+IUI+Progesterone- BFN
    Cycle 12: Clomid 100mg- BFN
    Cycle 13-16: Natural attempts while awaiting IVF 
    Cycle 14: IVF-BFN

    @Megzb510 I did really well!  Didn't notice too many side effects at all, Provera makes me super super moody!  I had one hot flash which I think was the day I (hopefully) ovulated.  And I had lots and lots of mild pain and cramping around the same time.  I'm only 7 or 8 dpo now so a few more waiting days!

    Me 34 DH 36 Married since July 2010 
    MFI (High DNA Fragmentation) & Mild endometriosis
    TTC #1 since June 2015 
    Aug 2016 - May 2017  6 IUI's with letrozole - BFN
    April 2017 - laparoscopy to remove mild endo
    June 2017 - Mini IVF letrozole 12.5mg, Gonal-F 75IU - Cancelled early ovulation, no eggs retrieved. 
    Aug/Sept 2017 - Mini IVF letrozole 12.5mg, Gonal-F 75IU, cetrotide - 13 eggs retrieved, 11 mature
    5 eggs ICSI'd 6 eggs frozen - 1 day 5 blast transfered, 2 expanded blast frozen - BFP!
    May 2018 - Baby girl born - Our Joy

    TTC #2 since July 2019
    July 2019 - FET - BFN
    Jan 2020 - FET - canceled due to family health issues
    Mar 2020 - FET - low beta - chemical pregnancy
    July 2020 - ICSI'd remaining 6 eggs - 3 fertilized - 2 survived to early blast stage, transfered both - Chemical Pregnancy

    Hello! I also have pcos. I am in the TWW of my second clomid cycle days 5-9 50mg. I didn't have too many side effects either. Good thing is that if clomid makes you ovulate and you don't get a bfp your period comes on its own like it's supposed to! 
    TTC since May 2015 with domestic partner of 13 years. Me 33 OH 33.  No ovulation or natural menstruation. Normal SA.
    Diagnosed PCOS February 2016
    First cycle 50mg Clomid 5/3/16, O'd CD 19 BFN
    Second cycle 50mg Clomid 6/1/16 O'd CD 18 BFN
    Third cycle Clomid 6/29/16 O'd CD 16 BFP @11dpo!
    EDD April 3 and praying things work out!

    @Ducks&Cats that's what I'm hoping for!!! I was so excited about the possible ovulation symptoms, I will honestly be pretty excited if I start my period on my own!!!!!!!  Also, I did Clomid days 3-7 and I *think* I ovulated on CD16/17!

    Are you doing a 7dpo progesterone draw or u/s to confirm O?  I would recommend that.  I did a progesterone draw which is cheaper.  My first AF after Clomid I had a short LP and a really short/light period indicating thin uterine lining.  For now I am doing supplements, Chinese medicine and acupuncture to help with that.  If it doesn't help then I will talk to my doc.  Just something to keep an eye out for because Clomid is known for thinning uterine lining. Good luck!

    @Ducks&Cats no, none of that yet.  My temp dropped this morning which seems a little early, I'm only 9dpo.

    June 2016- 50mg generic clomid CDs 5-9 w/TI | 2 follies (14 & 12), thin (2.45) lining | BFN
    July 2016- 1mg estradiol CDs 1-7, 50mg generic clomid CDs 5-9 w/TI | 2 follies (14 & 10), thin (~4) lining | BFN
    August 2016- 1mg estradiol CDs 1-7, 50mg generic clomid CDs 5-9 w/TI | BFN | Referred to specialist, visited once, was told we have less than a 3% chance even on medication, recommended to IUI for up to a 50% chance, decided not to pursue at this time | Stopped "trying"
    October 2016- We became licensed foster parents
    November 9, 2016- Arrival of DD#1, 4yo
    March 1, 2017- 1 day late, feel like crap (low fever & exhausted) | Mom suggested test before taking meds, I laughed but did it anyway | BFP! *shock*

    @zigzag8412 @Plainjanie thanks, y'all!!!!!!  My temp is still up and no sign of AF yet.  My hopes definitely aren't up, just content to wait around for now :smile: still really crampy, and my dog won't leave me the heck alone.  Along with sore boobs, those are my only symptoms, haha.  Why are PMS and early pregnancy symptoms the same???
