Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Trying to get as much protein in as possible. Been monitoring my sugar intake this week as I have my glucose testing tomorrow morning. I opted for the 2-hr test this pregnancy since my OB told me it's more definitive (fingers crossed!).
Appointment Update: Next Wednesday to check her growth to make sure it's up to par.
Any questions? Am I the only one that hasn't finished the nursery? I feel like i'm going with the motto of "she's not going to use it for months after she's born"... ugh I need to get my act together!!

Appointment Update: have my glucose test Monday... little late but its a pain trying to find a lab with extended hours so I usually just wait until my next free weekday off to make appointments.
Any questions? Not really, things are going well! NBR though, my poor little furry guy had to have a hematoma drained from his ear last night. I now have a 100 lbs dog with his head bandaged like an old school football helmet to look after today. I'm surprised it is still on, bit of a rough night, but he is being so good today tolerating all of this!

How big is baby? lettuce or according to ultrasound yesterday, 2lbs 10 oz
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Doing good - still enjoying the fried pickles though - OMG I'm obsessed, but thankfully most places don't serve them so i've been able to obstain....for the most part.
Appointment Update: Had ultrasound yesterday and baby is doing well, although breech. Next appt is 28wk one next Friday and then it starts the every two weeks appointment!
Any questions? @RedMar You are not alone - we have nothing done for the nursery yet, we don't even have a color picked out or anything....we do at least have the bedding so that's good (lol, no crib though). @Megan324 I definitely have had moments where I misjudged the size of belly, lol. I'm getting better at it now though. That being said I can't imagine it getting bigger than it is now and the fact that it will has me wondering how i'll be able to walk upright without falling over.

but last night I was getting out of bed and I like fell back down because my belly got in the way of how I normally get up. It was strange because up until this point I could kinda forget how big it is because it never got in the way.

We have ours pushed against the wall and that's the side I sleep on so when I get up I kinda roll to the end of the bed and then get up lol now I think I'm going to make him switch with me

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? The annoying pelvic pain is still going strong, no matter what I do. I'd never had RLS but I do now and it's so irritating! Dealing with everything else and rhe GD. Finally had my GD appointment and got a waaay nicer, way more accurate meter and my numbers are looking great on it.
Appointment Update: Just had the GD appointment and my 28w appointment. Next one is in two weeks (my OB starts every two week appointments at 32w but I'm starting early because of the GD) to check my numbers. I didn't get the TDAP shot so I'll ask about it at the next appointment.

Add me to the list of those who have done NOTHING with the nursery...we have a couple toys, outfits, and a pile of gift cards sitting on the floor in there, but it is still a guest room. We have family staying there July 8th and then we can start moving the bed out. My 2nd shower isn't until July 23rd, so we won't be buying anything until after that.
Also, add me to king size bed on the floor...a bed frame is the last purchase we need to make for the inside of the house and the one we are eyeing is a couple thousand...we can wait!

How big is baby? -i dont know, pineapple, so over the food comparison thing , they never seem right to me.

@LakeR2014 @Megan324 - right there with yall, we have queen bed and boxspring, laying on the ground. I was rather pissed when i ordered this $1500 bed and found out a frame did not come with it. i was like are you kidding me?? i dont care if we have one, we were sleeping on an air mattress for 9 months so i didnt give a flip if i have a frame.
my nursery has a crib (no mattress), changing table (no pad), and glider in it. plus a closet full of clean clothes, this child has more then we do! The crib and changing table were the one my parents used for me when i came along so that is kind of neat to use for my baby. We need to put the crib together and get a mattress. and arrange the room. so i feel OK on that part.

As far as the nursery goes, Im almost done, just need a night stand and mattress! Im def nesting bc
I've started on the living room now... I know how much time at home is going to spent after LO2 arrives, especially in the living room, and I noticed how mismatched and cluttered with toys it has become. So I'm reapholstering my filthy ottoman, just got a new rug and throw pillows, and bins to organize LOs toys. Where is this energy coming from??

Appointment Update: Yesterday was my group appointment and GD, found out I failed today. Been pretty upset all day. I'll hear from dietitian Monday and I have a follow up in three weeks with my midwife. I hate needles and I'm dreading the idea of pricking myself, I really hope it is not painful or that you see any blood...

Appointment Update: I have a second ultrasound on Monday because baby's kidneys are measuring on the "upper limit of normal." I hope that everything turns out alright. If baby's kidney's are still too big, we will have to have to make an appointment with a pediatric radiologist. We'll see how it all turns out.
