4 week appointment with the midwives on Tuesday. It feels like it's been forever, but finally being able to feel the baby kick kept my mind at peace in between appointments.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
We went to Outback last night and the Bean really loved dinner. It was jumping all around, it was really cute!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
I'm having a hard time sleeping now. I think it's mostly when trying to roll over because that's when I really feel the RLP and sometime the stretching causes Charlie horses.
GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday & Tuesday) What tradition are you most looking forward to starting with your new LO?
I think I'm most looking forward to the holiday's. My dad has always been big into model trains so every Christmas he would put a train under the tree. I'd build tunnels for it to go through with the presents and I loved watching the smoke come out of the stack. I can't wait to watch the Bean enjoy the same thing.

Upcoming appointments? Had a follow-up anatomy scan on Thursday (all is fine), but nothing coming up this week.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I’ve been really sensitive lately and I think it’s starting to get on my husband’s nerves.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Same old, but now with leg cramps at night.
GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday & Tuesday) What tradition are you most looking forward to starting with your new LO? My husband’s family always had stockings on Christmas morning. My family never did (we celebrated St. Nick’s day in mid-December and that’s when we had stockings), so it’s fun to have that new tradition for me and for the kids.
What size is baby? Rutabaga/cauliflower (boring)
Upcoming appointments? Glucose test in 1.5 weeks
Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm going to sound like a horribly selfish brat, but my mom promised to plan the baby shower and hasn't done anything about it yet! My husband keeps "threatening" that his mom will plan it, and honestly, I'm thinking I would be totally fine with that (although my mom would be upset). So now I have to give my mom one last ultimatum before I let my MIL run with it. BTW, MIL is fantastic and will do an amazing job, but come on mom, you said you would do it!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I'm getting concerned about weight gain, so I'm "allowing" myself to only snack on fruit between meals and then some sort of small dessert at night. No real cravings and I can finally eat chicken again!

My husband is Jewish and my family Protestant, so we won't have to worry about where to spend the holidays (although with baby girl maybe my family will do the hour drive to our house this year). Christmas is always a huge event in my family, with WAY TOO MUCH food and wine

Rants/Raves/Questions? We had our anatomy scan last week and found out we are having another girl! She is also a little fatty in the 69th percentile for weight already. I have to lay off the donuts lol.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Summer Heat is already getting to me and my back is killing me on a daily basis. It is going to be a long summer.
GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday & Tuesday) What tradition are you most looking forward to starting with your new LO? My mom has always called me first thing on my birthday and sung happy birthday in her awful singing voice and I still love it as a 33 year old adult. I have done it with DD the past two years and can't wait to do it with the new kiddo!

Today is viability day! Yay! We had our anatomy rescan yesterday and both problems had resolved themselves. He was being shy and wouldn't let us see his face.

I'm playing in a musical this weekend and next, and it has been insanely hard on my back and hips this time. Hungry all the time!

We go on some sort of vacation or long weekend every summer, and I can't wait to take baby with us next year.

Have any of you heard when you are doing your GD test? I can't remember when that happened last time. Rave: I think I found my acid reflux solution...apples! Who knew? It hasn't totally cured my heart burn/acid reflux, but it has helped immensely to have an apple every night before bed. Crossing my fingers it continues!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
My back is really bothering me, so I'll be going to the chiropractor a lot more in the coming weeks. I found one certified in the Webster technique and she specializes in pregnant patients, so hoping for good things. Baby was breech as of last appointment, which isn't concerning, but dd was head down very early on so it's making me just slightly paranoid.
GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday & Tuesday) What tradition are you most looking forward to starting with your new LO?
I don't know that I'll start a new one, we'll just continue what we've been doing with dd. I love Christmas morning, we host at our house, and it's a day of eating monkey bread and being lazy in our jammies while playing with presents and watching movies. I can't wait to start family vacations with our kiddos. We're planning a Disney World trip with dd next fall, which she'll love. That beautiful little Lane has been on my mind this week a lot.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Dreading next week's appointment because I am sure I have gained a ton of weight in the last month. We usually hardly eat out and I calorie count, but both of those fell by the wayside as we were prepping our house for the move two weekends ago, moved last weekend, and couldn't find pots and pans since then.
GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday & Tuesday) What tradition are you most looking forward to starting with your new LO? We're not going to start a new tradition, but we will be continuing on our combined traditions - especially for Christmas and Easter. In my family we always got to open a present on Christmas Eve and, on my husband's side, they always had stockings filled with fruits (apple, orange, banana), candies, a movie, underwear, and socks all from Santa. Santa also gives a big gift to my lo and he will this year too. Easter we spend with family and my sister and I have both been trying to get the tradition together of having lamb as the main course; also, the Easter egg hunt and the story of the resurrection.
