It was one of the first symptoms that I thought was off before I got my BFP. I have to take stairs up/down to get to the bathroom, and I was out of breath after just one flight! It's ridiculous, but our bodies are working so hard!
This doesn't happen often for me, but I notice it when I'm going up or down stairs. And speed walking has been more difficult. I've always been in pretty good shape and do a lot of cardio, but since BFP I get out of breath easily when walking, running, or doing stairs. Especially if I'm doing said stairs while talking or needing to talk as soon as I get up or down them.
It was a big hint I was pregnant. I use to be able to make it through my kickboxing classes no problem. The day before I tested positive, I couldn't make it five minutes without getting short of breath. The struggle is real!
Yes! This happens to me, as well as my heart rate rising a lot easier during workouts.
I used to RUN at an incline on a regular basis and just get my heart rate above 150. Yesterday, I was WALKING at an incline and my heart rate got up to 150.... It's very annoying.
Yes, I was out of breath (when walking up a slight incline on the street) at the very beginning, when I just discovered I was pregnant! I thought there must be something wrong with me, as I thought that there wasn't any extra weight or any reason why I would be out of breath from walking. Then I heard other mothers talking about it, and it put me at ease; I notice it just comes and goes. I would say to try to take it slow; don't be afraid to walk slower if you need to, and rest when you can. You might want to mention it to your obgyn, but based on what people say, this is a pretty common symptom of pregnancy.

Thanks ladies! Good to not feel alone. It is a pain in the butt though!!! I feel like an old water buffalo, lol.
Guess sometimes you just gotta stop and catch your breath. All for a good cause!
