Upcoming appointments? I had my monthly visit yesterday and follow-up ultrasound is tomorrow to check on the placement of the umbilical cord and growth of the baby. Nervous, can't wait for tomorrow.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I posted this in the appt check in yesterday, but I'm really upset that when the NP called 5 weeks ago to say we needed a follow up ultrasound (for what I thought was to see the bottom of baby's spine which they couldn't see at the time because he was curled up) and I specifically asked about the final report results they were supposed to call me with she said "that's it". Well no, apparently it wasn't. So I found out yesterday about this cord issue when the dr made an off-hand comment during my appt like I knew what he was talking about.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Feeling good other than the backaches and acid reflux. Still want to eat everything and anything in large quantities. Oh and some muscle pain in the rib area when I sit from everything squishing.
GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday) What tradition are you most looking forward to starting with your new LO? The holidays in general, but mostly Christmas Eve and Christmas with the family ❤️

Upcoming appointments? Today. We saw the baby and it's a boy!
Rants/Raves/Questions? My doctor was delivering a baby during my appointment so the ultrasound tech did it. She explained everything awesome but I have to go back again today to see the doctor so she can explain everything. Doesn't make sense
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Tired, hungry all the time. Craving salty food and spicy food.

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Fatigue has hit again. And hot flashes, ugh!
GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday) What tradition are you most looking forward to starting with your new LO? DH and I go to lots of sporting events, both professional and college, and watch all the games. Probably looking forward to passing on our sports alliances!
What size is baby? coconut
Upcoming appointments? next week I have an appointment with a perinatologist to talk about some potential hereditary bleeding disorders I may have inherited and whether, if I have them (never been tested), they will complicate labor. One more thing to worry about!
Rants/Raves/Questions? none really this week - getting ready to visit friends and family for a week, so in a pretty upbeat mood!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Aside from the anxiety, which has gotten a little better, and the hunger, nothing major. I have started to feel really hot all the time and sweating more. And I don't know that I would call it a craving, but cheese tastes soooo good right now. Better than it used to somehow.
GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday) What tradition are you most looking forward to starting with your new LO? I have always loved Christmas, it has always felt magical to me. I'm really excited to create that same magical feeling for my baby. Also, I grew up in Orlando, and I go back every year or so to visit friends. Can't wait to take my baby to Disney!
What size is baby? Grapefruit? Which seems smaller to me than the pomegranate last week

GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday) What tradition are you most looking forward to starting with your new LO? Teaching her to sew! I realized what an important skill it is to have later in life, so we're going to make blankets, clothes, whatever we need!
What size is baby? TB says coconut, but pregnant chicken says barbie and I like that comparison better

Rants/Raves/Questions? I've been sick for a few weeks. I'm feeling better today finally, but I was trying to get all my work travel scheduled before I'm too far along so starting next Monday I have to go to Dallas for a week, then Phoenix for a week. What was I thinking booking back to back trips!?
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I'm feeling pretty good overall. I've noticed this week I'm getting winded very easily. Also, I'm putting salsa on just about everything.
GTKY: (Stolen from Sunday) What tradition are you most looking forward to starting with your new LO? I want to do them all! But making a big deal out of her birthday, a special day just for her, is probably at the top of my list.
