Really not having a good time

As u know we're pregnant it's the happiest time not for me. I still can keep food down sometimes and not gaining enough due to this..... I'm considered high risk I want her out already

  • This sounds like a good thought for the randoms thread.

  • Sorry it's so rough! I'm ready to be done too. But need this guy to stay in longer to grow more. It will all be worth it when you are done so keep your eyes on the prize.
    Married - 4/7/07
    Son #1- 2/15/08
    Son #2- 8/18/10
    Baby 3 due 8/8/16
  • I know the feeling. Was hospitalized for dehydration many times last time, ended up getting hypertension and being induced at 35 week. I didn't gain weight, I was miserable. This time I deal with a nausea clinic and it seems to be a bit better but I am still sick a lot.
It really does suck! And I didn't believe anyone when they said it would be worth it, but it is. It still sucks.
  • I try to eat but either I'm hot, taste like poop or can't keep it down.... Definitely talking about induced b4 Aug 28 I can't do it. I'm 4 11 I don't carry a lot of weight b4 pregos
  • I'm so sorry.  Its not fun at the end.  I would also look up the development that happens towards the end to think about what more your baby is doing growing in there.  Full Term is 39 weeks and usually you will have to have a medical reason to induce before that.

I'm still dealing with the nausea too - I found some awesome popsicles which *really* help... and they have fruit and protein from the yogurt, so decent for you. And if you are too hot to eat, well these are frozen.

    Nausea Pops
3 cups strawberries, hulled & quartered
    2 bananas, sliced
    1 cup blueberries
    1 cup apple juice
    1 cup Greek yogurt, vanilla
    2 Tbsp. honey
    1 Tbsp fresh grated ginger

    1. Wash and chop fruit and add to blender.
    2. Add remaining ingredients to blender and blend on high until smooth.
    3. Fresh ginger is more potent and works best but substitute powdered if it's all you have.
    4. Pour into popsicle molds/paper cups with pop sticks or whatever works. My molds are Tupperware hand-me-downs from grandma, but these molds are cute, colorful and come in several different shapes. The fishie ones could later be used for homemade baby treats!
    5. Freeze, enjoy and feel better!

@bananers, I don't feel like you're lurking at all. I get that you have a bit less in common with us for the moment (but that part is going to change in just a few more weeks).  In my opinion you still belong to our birth month board, so please feel free to chime in whenever you find time!!
^^ I feel the same way and wanted to love this like 50 more times!
  • I ended up in the er as of now I'm dehydrated waiting to see what eles....knew something was off
  • @lilpinky7878 - I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully you can get some fluids and be feeling better so you can keep that baby growing longer.
