• Goal Weight OR how are you feeling this week? Feeling not great. I was in a wedding on Saturday and it was really tough to zip up the dress. My own wedding is in 39 days and I'm racing against the clock to lose a few pounds so I can fit in my gown. It was tight a few weeks ago!

Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week? No weight gain

Any challenges you're facing this week? End of school year party

How did you do with your goals last week? The wedding kinda threw off the whole don't gain weight thing!

GTKY: Do you have any strange sounding food combinations that are actually delicious? I like frozen fruit in my yogurt...is that weird?

It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • Not going to lie, I almost didn't want to update this week since last week was so rough. But here I am...

Goal Weight OR how are you feeling this week? Feeling pretty miserable. I was doing so well first week, and then I don't know if I can legit blame it on ovulation hormones (for sure not all of it), but then I just get derailed and it's hard to snap back into it. Haven't weighed yet, but I'm sure I've regained those 5 lbs from last week...

Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week? Uhm, make sure I get back to my 30 pushups challenge, cos I may have missed a day or two, but I did them again when I remembered. Get back on my daily dog walks, too, even if they are not long, the sunshine does me good, logging my food again, and keep taking my vitamins. That's one thing at least I have managed to stay consistent with. Taking my vitamins is just such a habit and part of our routine now!

Any challenges you're facing this week? Just emotions I guess. I started this Creighton tracking method, so all these feelings are popping up and I'm just back to feeling depressed and wanting more to be pregnant than to be wearing skinny clothes.

How did you do with your goals last week? Got derailed.

GTKY: Do you have any strange sounding food combinations that are actually delicious?

I don't usually do French Fries or mayo, but if I'm doing fries, that is what they get dipped in. Mayo. Bam.
  • @BusinessWife - sorry for the rough patch :( I completely feel where you are coming from. I totally felt like that over the weekend, and honestly as the day goes on I am feeling it today. But you got this my friend!!! Just pick yourself up and press on. I have full faith in you that you can do it! And if you slip up at all, that is OK. Recognize it, and then do better on your next meal/snack
    And can I just add....
tyler perry hallelujah madea hallelujer loretta divine
YYYASSSSS to fries and mayo!!! SO GOOD!! Now I want some :-P

Killin it in week ten ladies!!

@Schumerator I'm having the same issue with commitment. Normally when I go in, I go all in and I kill it. But when I lose that it's so hard to pick it back up again!

@thj101 I do WW too and it has always been amazing for me. But just like any other diet plan it's only successful when you want it to be (and are willing to put in the work) and it's the want part that's been missing for me lately!

@marriedhamstermom Weight loss is my biggest motivator too. I've always felt ass backwards in the sense that when I am up I am like "oh well I gained weight, might as well keep eating" but when I'm down I'm like "Hell yeah, I need to keep going!".

@BusinessWife I know that wanting to be pregnant more than wearing smaller clothes feeling as well. It makes it tough to find the motivation when the emotions are all over.

@GrabberBlue2010 If I miss meal prep I'm basically doomed to fail! It's so important to have what you need readily available otherwise the faster option will always win.

  • Goal Weight OR how are you feeling this week? SW:132 CW: 131 GW: 115

Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week? Continue with the 21 Day Fix! I finished my 60 day schedule of Piyo, which I did love, but I was ready to change it up again. I started the 21 Day Fix originally last summer and did really well with it. So I started it up again yesterday and am on Day 2 now! I just love Autumn and always come back to the 21dfx. I've done really well on the eating plan so far yesterday and today; no junk! I haven't touched the ice cream in my freezer since Saturday which is huge for me. Ice cream is my weakness. But I already feel better and totally feel you on the "skinny" and "fat" days @marriedhamstermom!

Any challenges you're facing this week? It will be a daily challenge to continue eating well and avoiding junk. I go out a lot and it's when I'm out of the house that's my biggest challenge. Saying no to treats at friend's houses or at my MK meetings is tough. But I know snacking here and there adds up so I have to say no to it all!

How did you do with your goals last week? I finished my last week of Piyo and I do love how it lengthens me out and strengthens my core. I can tell that it's helped now with restarting the 21dfx compared to last year when I did it with no prior training.

GTKY: Do you have any strange sounding food combinations that are actually delicious? Halve a pear, put it in the toaster oven to warm and soften, take it out and put a scoop of cottage cheese on each side and sprinkle with cinnamon. Oddly delicious!!

I tried to c25k because I really wanted to be a runner. Alas, I lasted 3 weeks and fell back into my routine of any other fitness. But I did love working out outside and it's an especially nice time of the year for it (at least, it is in the NE of the US where I am ) @Marley629

I feel you on junk @linzrunz, that is definitely my weakness too! Sweets in particular. I've gathered a few healthy sweet recipes to make this week so I have something on hand. My friend swears by black bean brownies. I've had hers and they are actually really good and only sweetened by coconut sugar which has a lower glycemic index than most other sweeteners. I'll have to let you know when I make them!

@GrabberBlue2010 I may have threw up in my mouth a little reading your GTKY ;) I'm all for Pb&J and ranch, separately!

And congrats on hitting 100lbs lost ladies!! I'm new to this thread so I'm not included yet but I'm happy to have others keeping me accountable :)

@sienac I eat pizza with ranch on occasion and don't think it's strange at all. Also, I love hot sauce on Mac n cheese! Yum!!! You have good taste!

  • @AliciaGoose that is so me all the time! I really have to attempt and not throw away a whole week if I've been bad a few days, which I tend to do! I have to remind myself that each day is a new day for new choices. Even your next meal is a new choice! You can do it!!

That is literally my exact problem! Not only throwing a whole day down the drain but a whole week! Even right now I'm thinking 'well if I start tomorrow we have a staff lunch, and then there's a picnic Saturday, and it's Father's Day Sunday, so I guess I can't start until Monday' instead of saying 'learn some self control and start with dinner'!
