What is your fitness goal this week? 6
days of running; two days of weights.
Any challenges this week? I’ve
been irrationally upset about my weight gain. I know logically that it happens faster with the second
child and I’m on track for “normal” weight gain, but it still really bothers me
to see the number on the scale ticking up every week.
How did you do with your goals last
week? Not great. We
ordered pizza when my husband was out of town; and I only ran 4 days last week.
GTKY: What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child? My sister and I
used to watch the My Little Pony movie every time my parents went out. I re-watched it a few years ago. It is TERRIBLE. When I was a little older, I really
liked Darkwing Duck and Tailspin.
What is your health/nutrition goal this week? Maintain weight or gain .5 pound max. I also plan to lower my carb intake. What is your fitness goal this week? What is your health/nutrition goal this week? Continuing to listen to my body's hunger cues, especially when it comes to snacking (i.e. only snacking when I'm hungry, not just because I feel like eating). Make sure to eat on a schedule ... when I put off meals too long I get super hungry and it takes a lot more to feel full.
What is your fitness goal this week? Walk the dogs at least 6 days this week. Work out at least 4 days. Even if I don't go to the gym, do the arms section of my prenatal barre workout ... I'm realizing that my nonexistent upper body strength is not going to be a good thing for carrying around a baby and tons of baby gear!
Any challenges this week? The past few weeks work has been crazy busy and stressful. Even after a long day, I always feel better if I workout or walk the dogs, but it's a lot harder for me to convince myself to do it!
How did you do with your goals last week? Goals went well! I've cut down on the after dinner snacking and I've noticed I'm really not hungry after dinner most of the time. I've been walking the dogs a lot and I've made it to the gym more than usual this week. GTKY: What was your favorite cartoon when you were a child? I used to really love Rugrats! In general, Nickelodeon was just the best!

I have so much pelvic pressure. My hips are spreading so wide and it's so hard to see I tried to go shopping for some clothes because I have none that fit and I just ended up crying and going home. This pregnancy is so different from my last and I'm carrying the weight so different. And I'm packing on the pounds so easy and fast. It's super frustrating.

@mrskratt I feel you. I wanted to torture myself, so I looked back at my chart from this point in my last pregnancy. I had only gained 8 pounds. I'm up 14 pounds already this pregnancy. I'm not doing anything differently than last time, still working out and eating the same number of calories as I was before I got pregnant, but the pounds keep coming. I know it's normal, but it's really frustrating and disheartening.
@ignoscemihi and @mrskratt, I feel you on the poundage..... It's so SILLY that i even worried about gaining weight in the first tri.... I started at 107 and now i'm at 119.8. I just have to reassure myself that I'm eating healthy, and working out and doing what I need to do.... and that the weight gain is natural.... but every time I step on that scale.... oh man. It's a mindf*ck. What is your health/nutrition goal this week? Eat good food, and stay away from sugar!!! Last weekend, because of the Orlando shooting, I did some comfort baking and baked cookies, smores bars and a pie. WTF?

Any challenges this week? Just disrupting my usual Sunday workout spin class, because it's father's day. So now I have to change up the days of my workout, and I'm not good with schedule changes.

The big comfy couch is the only one I can think of, I was more a Disney movies kind of kid.
