January 19th according to LMP. First ultrasound confirmed that we're about on the nose with that--our doctor didn't provide an alternate date (I was flustered and didn't ask).

Hi! I've been reading this board whilst waiting on the February board to pick up. I'm due February 3rd based on LMP but based on ovulation may be off a couple days. So I'm hoping I can hang out over here too if that's okay...
We were hoping for two under two as we are over 35 and have a late start to this whole family building thing. I am still nursing so we weren't sure that it would happen and I wasn't willing to wean my son to get started in earnest. I used the OPK test for the last cycle just to see if I was ovulating and here we are!

We miscarried in January at week 4 or 5, so still keeping our fingers crossed right now (8 weeks 3 days at the moment). - Is this your first child/do you have any other children? I'm due January 4th. But I have diabetes so they are going to induce me after Christmas if I haven't had baby by then. We weren't really trying but we weren't preventing. We had the "if it happens it happens" attitude. This will be my third child and my husband's second. I have twin 13 year old girls (I know crazy that I'm starting over but so worth it!) My husband and I got married last July but we have been together for 4 years. I'm 12 weeks along as of yesterday and so excited. I have ultrasound proof that there is only one baby in there this time. I did have a miscarriage two years ago so this time around I am very nervous but excited at the same time. Now that I'm almost done with my first trimester I'm feeling more secure. We got to see the heartbeat twice now at 7 and 10 weeks. Super awesome!

I had actually just told my cousin's wife that I didn't think I was ovulating anymore a week before we found out we were pregnant. We just had our NT scan today and everything is looking good, so we can hopefully relax a little bit now. I started referring to the baby as 'Bryo' or 'Bree' when we were still under 9 weeks (for embryo) and now have started calling it 'Fe' for Fetus. Fe was quite active today during the scan and I hopefully I'll be able to start feeling him/her soon so I can leave all of the anxiety behind and start to get excited about growing our family.

I have a 5 year old daughter. She is very excited about having a baby sister, but insists that if it's a boy then she's not going to be happy. I remind her all the time that she often prayed to God for a baby, boy OR girl. We will cross that bridge if we need to.

I am going to be 30 in October. My husband and I met each other at a restaurant where we worked while both attending college. We have been married for 8 amazing years! He is a software architect, and my best friend. I have been teaching elementary school for 7 years.
We were hoping for two under two as we are over 35 and have a late start to this whole family building thing. I am still nursing so we weren't sure that it would happen and I wasn't willing to wean my son to get started in earnest. I used the OPK test for the last cycle just to see if I was ovulating and here we are!
I'm 37 and work at a university. Hubby and I got married two years ago and we had DS #1 last July. I love to travel - but those carefree days may have ended for now.... So excited about being pregnant again!!
- What's your due date? Should be around Jan/02/17. Dr keeps moving my appointments back so I don't have a official Dr given due date yet
- How long were you trying (if you were)? 7 Months of actual trying, but been off bc since July. Only BD'ed once the month we conceived. We were both so sick we didn't even think about trying.

Oh goodness, where do I start? Well my husband and I have been together for about 5 years now, married for 2. We live in Southeastern Wisconsin. I work from home for a nonprofit organization focused on suicide prevention in young adults. Hubs is a Tool and Die Apprentice. I have a degree in HR which causes me to overanalyze every situation. Well, maybe not that, but it certainly helps.
I'm unsure what else to say, but I hope to get to know everyone!

I have horrible morning sickness that I hope goes away soon, DH and I thought I had caught some sort of Flu bug before realizing we were expecting... SUPRISE :P We honestly shock off all "maybe your pregnant comments lol but we are beyond excited to add another beautiful baby to our family.
Based off my last period my due date was January 22nd but I recently had an ultrasound that puts it back to January 28th. 8 weeks today!

Me and my husband both late starters we 35, just had baby this year Jan 8. And now due again in January one day later lol. We knew we wanted another soon but not so soon, but we are blessed and grateful

- How long were you trying (if you were)? About 9 months. We miscarried in January at week 4 or 5, so still keeping our fingers crossed right now (8 weeks 3 days at the moment).
- Is this your first child/do you have any other children? First child for us both! We do have a gorgeous 6-year-old kitty, though.
- Tell us a little about yourself! I'm 30, husband is 31. I'm getting my PhD in history, and he works as a chemist at an ink company. We've been together for 13 years (since the end of high school!) and married for 6 years. We've moved together from Portland OR (our favorite place!) to Berkeley CA, to Santiago (Chile), to New Haven CT, where we currently live. We're Pacific Northwesterners at heart, with deep affection for Chile as well.

I'm 38 so I get the AMA tag again. I had my first a month after I turned 35 so my OB gave me the AMA tag anyway. This time around I've developed a Thyroid issue which is hopefully fully pregnancy related. I live in Tucson, AZ and it is HOT. I'm a Quality Analyst (software tester) for a large non-profit. I enjoy playing video games in my spare time and hanging out with my family. I have two step-daughters 16, and 21 and they were shocked but thrilled to be having a new sibling.

We have 3 adorable pets together.. a Siberian Husky, a Blue Tick Coon Hound, and a long hair domestic tuxedo cat. - How long were you trying (if you were)?
This time we were not exactly trying- but not trying to not get pregnant. I had actually just told my cousin's wife that I didn't think I was ovulating anymore a week before we found out we were pregnant. My husband had also just let me know he wanted to try again- so I was about to make another appointment with either my OB or our reproductive endocrinologist.
- Is this your first child/do you have any other children?
This will be our first, though we have had 2 previous losses. We also have 2 fur babies (cats).
- Tell us a little about yourself!
I'm 34 and DH is 37. We will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary in August. We live in NJ currently, though are planning on moving to PA (where I'm from) when our lease runs out in April. We have had 2 previous losses so I was anxious about telling anyone or even joining the full group, though I have been participating in the PGAL weekly posts. We just had our NT scan today and everything is looking good, so we can hopefully relax a little bit now. I started referring to the baby as 'Bryo' or 'Bree' when we were still under 9 weeks (for embryo) and now have started calling it 'Fe' for Fetus. Fe was quite active today during the scan and I hopefully I'll be able to start feeling him/her soon so I can leave all of the anxiety behind and start to get excited about growing our family.

This was a surprise and unplanned but myself and my SO couldn't be more thrilled.

- I am from the Northern NJ area. I love baking and cake decorating. My SO and I are a first time parent-to-be couple at age 30. Both are excited, anxious and of course nervous!
- How long were you trying (if you were)? This pregnancy was a complete and total surprise. I have a strongly worded letter to send to Trojan.
- Is this your first child/do you have any other children? This is my second pregnancy. My son Owen was born July 2012 and he's absolutely thrilled to be a big brother.
- Tell us a little about yourself! I just turned 30 and work as a mental health therapist for ages 5 through the life span. H and I had our 5 year wedding anniversary this past spring, he's an engineer. We planned on starting to try for our second baby beginning of next year, things just jumped ahead about 9 months!

I had at MC this past February, and got pregnant again the first cycle after my MC. I've been lurking here for a while, scared to participate in case of another loss. I'm 12 weeks now so I feel more comfortable participating.

This will be our second. Our daughter is 3 years old.

I am 30 and my husband is 31. We will be celebrating our 5 year anniversary this summer. He is a retirement specialist and I am a school librarian in a middle school. This summer we will be moving into our first home, and I'm so ready to get out of this apartment! I went off of birth control about 4 months ago until my husband, who is active duty military, received orders. I restarted BC but missed a period, so stopped it because I was concerned I might be pregnant. Turns out I was not pregnant then, but became pregnant about a month later waiting on my next cycle

I am 26 years old and have been married to my husband, who is a soldier in the US Army, for 8 years in August. We are from North Carolina but are currently in the process of relocating to Fort Rucker, AL. I have been a middle school English teacher for the past 2 years and had my own dogwalking service prior to that. I will be taking some time off of work pending our new arrival. In addition to my career as a teacher, I am also an aerialist who trains and performs on aerial silks. I absolutely love my hobby and hope to continue conservative training throughout my pregnancy. I am a huge animal lover and have many pets including 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a turtle.

This was a SURPRISE pregnancy. Needed to do IVF for my first two children and didn't think I ovulated at all without "help". We were actually having conversations about whether we wanted more and what to do with our two frozen embryos and my DH was thinking about a vasectomy! God had other plans apparently!
