We are having a terrible time deciding on a girl's name. We have come up with a few possibilities, if you have opinions or even similar style suggestions. Our last name is short with vowel emphasis (think "oboe"). Our son's name is Lucas. We really want to use Ann in some form as it is a family name.
1) Lillian Ann - NN Lily - really love the name Lillian, but not sure it sounds good with Ann. And don't like just Lily Ann for some reason.
2) Penelope Ann - NN Penny
3) Margaret Ann - NN Maggie
4) Anna Katherine - NN Anna Kate - like the sound of this, but Katherine is my name so I'm not sure I like that it seems a little full of myself
5) Anna Claire - no NN - double first name
6) Elizabeth Ann - NN Lizzie
7) Madeline Ann - NN Ellie - don't like NN Maddie though, and afraid people will still call her this
Any thoughts? Constructive criticism is fine.

Re: Thoughts on our working list of girl names
i like the 2 anna choices best
Baby #2 Due 3/7/20
Also, it's not full of yourself to give your daughter your name as a middle name. Men name their sons after them all the time and we don't even blink.
My second vote would be for Anna Claire - I am a big supporter of double names!
DD has my first name as her MN. She loves that we share a name. As do I.
Double first names are quite common where I live, and I love them. Here are some other similar suggestions:
Shelby Ann (used as a double name)
Elizabeth Ann (with nn Anna Liz)
Anna Jane (nn Janie or Annie)
Everly Ann (nn Evie)
Charlotte Ann
