Frequent Urination slowing?

So I'm freaking myself out (I'm hoping/sure for nothing). I never have a TON of pregnancy symptoms to run off of anyway...and I know it's normal for them to kind of fluctuate. But, EVERY single night for the last month I've been waking up to pee at least 3-5 times in about a 8 hour span. Last night I only got up twice, and even while drinking water throughout the day, didn't seem as though I was peeing as much. I'm 10w0d today. Any other ladies experiencing the same and still feeling confident everything's okay? After two miscarriages, pretty much EVERYTHING freaks me out....

Re: Frequent Urination slowing?

  • I'm being a big, paranoid baby... :|
  • Loading the player...
  • I heard it is mostly a first-trimester symptom and isn't as bad as your uterus moves higher... I have noticed I haven't got up as much either especially compared to the first while. I wouldn't worry... I try not to let symptoms reveal too much as this early on they can come and go whenever they please

  • I'm constantly reminding myself of this, because logically I know that these things can be very normal. Unfortunately, I'm a worrier by nature...and apparently enjoy totally spazzing myself out.
  • I slept through the night without having to pee for the first time in weeks the other night. My reward was totally peeing my pants during a bout of morning sickness the next morning. TBH I think I'd rather pee in the middle of the night.
  • Any loss of symptoms during pregnancy is especially terrifying to a PGAL mom. I would say that the peeing less frequently is normal until the third trimester when you will be peeing constantly. It is also getting hot outside and your body is probably using more of what you are drinking with less to spare.
  • Agree with PP about the change in season probably being a contributing factor. Still having to get up twice is more than most non-pregnant women though :) I'm 11 weeks tomorrow, and I just started a couple of days ago having to get up in the middle of the night to go just once--it's probably a different experience for everyone when it starts and stops, since it's just a matter of how your uterus chooses to expand, which organs it puts pressure on, and how well your body adapts to the extra blood flow through your kidneys.
  • I'm the opposite, I wake up every morning between 4-5am and I drink an entire glass of water. Never had to get up a pee (yet).
