  • @clover28 hope your LO feels better soon!

@FrancesGrace630 enjoy the BBQ, even if you do have to leave early!
  • @Scarlett830 Thanks! He just recently started going to daycare instead of staying home with me so I feel like this is just the first of a million viral illnesses he's going to get.

@SandwichLover we went on a safari last year too and it was AMAZING..if you have a chance, go! We went to Kenya and it was amazing..we saw all of the big 5 and on our last day, we saw two lionesses hunting AND 3 lion cubs playing with their momma watching over them in a tree. It wasn't even the season for lion cubs - our guide was shocked!  So heavenly.

Edit: bump ate half my post :(

  • @BusinessWife congrats!! Hope to see you over there next week  :)

@clover28 I love your answer to the GTKY lol

@FrancesGrace630 thanks for posting that oatmeal recipe yesterday! I'm definitely going to try that out!

    WAYDTGKU: the regs

R/R/CS: didn't temp this morning because I had some drinks at the Taking Back Sunday concert last night. My high school heart is so happy  <3  it was everything I wanted it to be lol

GTKY:  What is the most "extreme" thing you've ever done?

Also not a very extreme person. I feel like I may have done something better than what I'm going to say, if I think of it I'll update later. Went on a helicopter ride over some volcanos in Hawaii... Though it didn't seem extreme it was just pretty cool. DH and I had sex on a picnic table at a camp ground once, and the night patrol drove by and we had to jump down  and run and hide lol. Again, probably not "extreme" just risky and dumb :D

@clover28 Also it's probably good that your LO gets sick now! I grew up in a daycare center that my mom worked at and I was sick quite a bit for the first year or two but I seriously never got sick once I was school age, and my mom knew it! Any time I would ask to stay home sick she would say you can go to school and if they say you're sick then you can come home, and I never was so it never happened, sadly lol. She was a tough one.

@linzrunz haha your answer is hilarious! I would consider that extreme, glad it worked out for you! I also transferred schools in college* to be with DH after dating for a few months, though I was going to be transferring anyways after my first two years, I probably would have gone to a different school had I not met him first.

edit: transferred schools in college, not high school. That'd be weird.

    WAYDTGKU: Waiting

R/R/CS: I really don't have any rants, except the same "my doctor thinks I ovulated but I didn't and no +hpt or AF so what now?" concerns.

GTKY:  I'm not an extreme person. The only thing I can think of is when I was 19 I went to stay with a friend in England whom I only had met in person twice but had talked to online for several years. It turned out okay, he didn't murder me or anything. Thankfully.

  • Cycle/Month: 1 after 3 NTNP

    CD: 12

WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPK, BD EOD, etc.

R/R/CS: This is my first cycle temping after my AF returned, and I'm not entirely sure what's going on. I thought I O'd the other day, but then I had an even bigger temp drop today. No +OPK yet, so I'm not sure what's happening. If anyone wants to CS me, I'd appreciate it.

GTKY: Hmmm... most extreme... I'm not sure. Maybe parasailing, flying a plane briefly, piercing my own lip in high school, or perhaps taking off for Burning Man without a plan - no ride from the airport, no camp or anything.

TTGP July Siggy Challenge: Summer Fails
  • @kyrenora  It looks like you are gearing up, but your temp will rise and stay elevated after ovulation.  If you see that rise for three days, and you will probably also see CM change from fertile-type to non-fertile type over those three days, then you can be pretty confident you Od and move over to TWW, regardless of whether you get a fully "positive" OPK.
  • @BusinessWife - Thank you! When I was TTC before, I was able to turn OPKs no problem, so temping was really just a less-necessary backup. Now I'm so lost! That really helps.
