My doctor said it was ok in moderation, and the internet has varying opinions. It's really the only fish I even go near - very very rarely would I sometimes eat shrimp. I'm just curious, what are your opinions on Tuna Safety and Consumption?
I've just never really been a fish person. Occasionally tuna salad sounds good, but yesterday definitely Baby H wanted tuna for lunch. It was to the point that I ended up going to the store to get tuna because I just didn't want anything else. I guess that's really Craving #1.
I try to get specifically canned skipjack (because it tends to be lowest mercury) and go by the 12oz/week recommendation. 12oz of canned tuna a week is ~4 meals for me, which is more than I think I've ever eaten.
Re: Tuna
I agree, it's best in moderation.

Of course, I have not checked these for mercury levels yet, so... I might also be unhappy next time I go fish shopping.
