Stop Asking Me Personal Questions!!! I've Never Even Seen You Before!!

Is anyone else tired of random strangers and people you barely know asking you extremely personal questions and making judgmental comments about your pregnancy?!?! Questions/Comments I have gotten from random strangers include but are not limited to;

"Oh, so it was a surprise?" (After telling a woman, at my mom's insistence, that my other kids are 17, 14 and 12, this is my husband's and my first together)

"Are you doing natural or C-section?"

"Is it a boy or a girl?" no big deal until it's followed with "Oh! Are you happy about that?"

"Are you nervous about childbirth?"

Or the never-ending need for random strangers to touch you, whether they ask or not!!! Gah!

What are some of the more invasive questions you have gotten from complete strangers or people you barely know? Maybe it will help me feel a little less rage-ish... lol

    Not a stranger but my great aunt grabbed a handful of tit at my shower and in her old Serb accent asked if I would breastfeed. Lol.  But a stranger I was asked if I lost my mucus plug

    A couple weeks ago I was at the bakery getting my husband a birthday cake. As the woman was writing on the cake she asked me if this was my first, when was I due, what was I having, and told me about a friend that just miscarried at 8 weeks then told me she wasn't trying to scare me (um, I'm way past 8 weeks). The last thing she asked was for me to bring the baby back so she could meet her. Um no! I don't know you lady.

    Today I got oh wow your pregnant ... (Obviously) when did you get married... Didn't even know the lady and I have a wedding ring on my finger who cares about the exact day . People are weird ... Or my husbands parents own a camp ground and the same 25 old couples come to stay every summer . One lady told me it must have been a really cold winter ( I thought that was funny) followed by another who came and sat next to me and started to "pet" my stomach as I was eating ... Like mid bite ... Never seen this old women in my life and she continued to do it for about a minute before I us to ask her to stop petting my stomach ... People I tell ya! I will NOT take my daughter back there when she is out unless she is strapped to my chest can you imagine the boundaries crossed then with touch / trying to hold her .. Yikes

    Random creep in a 7-11 line asked me if I had any other kids (I do have a toddler) and follow-up question was whether the new baby had the same dad. What??? Why would that be any of your business?

    One might have gone with how old? Is it a boy or girl? Jeez people!

    Not a stranger, but my MIL talked about conception dates!! First my DH and I had to listen to her talk about his conception, and then she asked if we knew when we conceived! My DH, who knew I didn't want to discuss that with her, told my MIL that it was weird to be talking about that but she wouldn't stop!! I know growing up they had a close relationship, but I am not yet on their level; even after 5 years of marriage!!
    Not too much from strangers. I guess I give off a 'don't talk to me' vibe while in public :) I went through a drive-thru once for breakfast and had ordered a small coffee (which I wasn't even going to finish the whole thing). The lady at the window said something like 'oh you're going to drink that?'; very judgmentally even though she looked like she was 16. I was nice about it at the time, but after I left I thought about all the things I should've said!

    OMFG the coffee comments! I had a coworker tell me "caffeine during pregnancy causes ADD" as I sipped my tall frappuccino. He has exactly 0 children, so he MUST be the authority on the matter!!!

    A waitress tried to tell me I was having a girl, even though the chromosome test said I was having a boy. That's really the only things strangers have said to me. However the stares are happening. Idk why people stare at super pregnant women. Do they think I'm going to start dancing or something?

    Haha @mldutton my MIL is the worst.  My boyfriend told her I was pregnant. .o did want to go in part by I was scared of her questions..and she immediately asked him how long it took us to.conceive...so nosy. He didn't like that question from his mom and told her so. So we go out for dinner with them a few days later and hear her go "I don't care I'm asking her" under her breath to FIL. And asks me how long. I gave her a vague "oh not long" and changed the subject. I've grown fond of the vague answers over the last nine months...drives her nuts.  She was also the first to touch my stomach at around 12 weeks  and it was literally just my normal stomach...seriously?   

    I am also just finding out its bad to order coffee...I go to Tim Hortons eve morning for a small coffee...just figured  people did research before they judged...you can have 200mg a.day...geez!

    We told my in laws we were expecting at around 6 weeks and my sister in law walked up to me and leaned in towards my belly and put both hands on it and started rubbing.  AT SIX WEEKS. It was so awkward.  Here I am at 38 weeks and I basically have to shove her away because she keeps trying to touch my belly even though I've told her not to.

    My sister actually had an elderly woman come up to her cart in the grocery store and try to pick my niece up to hold her when she was a few months old. My sister lost it on her and the lady was genuinely offended! "I just wanted to hold her, she is so cute!". No! You don't get to even TOUCH my baby without my permission let alone pick her up randomly in the middle of a store!
