Baby position?

any idea on how to know where baby is? I keep having lots of jabs and movements really low. Like below my c-section scar. He just seems so very very low. My others were not like this. But it makes me pressure when I stand so I'm avoiding all standing/walking.

Re: Baby position?

  • I just had an ultrasound yesterday and baby is head down, but I still feel movement all over the place. I could have sworn she was sideways because I get jabs on both sides at the same time. I'm not sure if there's any way for you to know for sure yourself what the position is.

  • I thought my LO was sideways too, because i was feeling lots of movement in my sides, but now I'm feeling tons of movement WAY low, and a little up high.  I'm going to guess maybe he has turned and might be head down now. I have an ultrasound on the 21st, so I guess we'll see for sure then.

I can always tell based on where her hiccups are located! She flips back and forth a lot. Usually when I feel movements way far down like that she's breach and I can feel her head with my hands in my upper abdomen. When she's head down I feel kicks in my upper abdomen and can no longer feel her head anywhere.
  • At my appointment this morning baby girl was head down and I feel movement a lot still on the sides. But then again I have an anterior placenta, so maybe I am just not feeling some of the movements?

I also can tell she is definitely head down when she gets the hiccups at least once a day and I feel them either in my crotch or bum. Lol! It's kinda cute.

  • She is breech, resting in a crescent on my right side. Her head on my right side above my belly button and her feet near my left hip. All the visible movement is near her head/arms but I can feel her kick her feet way low in my pelvis, especially if I'm sitting at work.

Mine was breech a while ago and I never felt movement higher than my belly button. Baby flipped and was confirmed by hiccups being really low. My MW showed me where the baby's back is.. and I can see that part bulge out sometimes and I feel kicks and punches...( so on both sides)... sometimes I feel flutters low but I think that's baby's hands
  • When DS 1 was breech, I was constantly kicked in the cervix, which was as awesome as it sounds.
