What is next? (Appointments, milestones)? Appt with MFM on Wednesday. I'm anticipating they are each 3 lbs by then. They were measuring 2lbs9oz and 2lbs7oz last week Wednesday.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Went into the hospital yesterday to get monitored and was having BH contractions 5 min apart. They did a labor indicator swab (which thankfully came back negative), but now my lady parts really hurt. I also had them test for a bladder infection but that was also negative.
Questions? I have been prone to yeast and BV infections in the past and asked them to test me for this and they didn't. I realize my cervix is probably super sensitive from the swab but it burns when I pee and is painful after urination. Has anyone dealt with this so far during pregnancy? I'm debating if I need to go back in..
Are you having a baby shower? sprinkle? Are you looking forward to it? These are our firsts so the shower will be on Sunday. Thank heavens because I'm ready to organize stuff just in case they do come really early. I am excited but it's going to be pretty large and I hope I'm up for it.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms? As of last week's appointment, this baby was head down but I'm 95% sure he/she is not done moving because there was definitely a head behind my belly button again. It's all I can think about and is making me feel like a crazy person. I'm tempted to call today to see if I could get in to confirm position, but then also know I will be there next Thursday and should probably just wait and keep stretching. Ugh...

Second time mama, no sprinkle. Just hoping nesting kicks in so I actually take the newborn clothes out of the basement, and the rock and play for sleeping the first few months. Also, the new crib won't arrive until July or so and DS has moved in to his big boy room. The nursery is looking empty!

Rants/Raves/Symptoms? My allergies are driving me off the wall, we still have pollen in the air and it is the worst

Are you having a baby shower? sprinkle? Are you looking forward to it? I think i am but i am not really too excited about it. I don't like my mom's family they are all drama and they would be invited to it, i don't really care if i do have one or not. I don't like being the center of attention either so will see, I wish they all get along but they fight over the dumbest things ever which i have told them they need to get over it and stop the non sense.

This is my second so we are not having a shower or a sprinkle. I am really relieved about that. It is nice to have a low key pregnancy.

What is next? (Appointments, milestones)? 32 week appointment on Tuesday with my new doctor (we moved to a city about 1 hour away earlier this month). Hopefully I like her!
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? He was head down at every appointment up until the last one. He flips all the time but primarily stays feet down. I really, really, really don't want him to stay breech! I've been doing spinning babies and will call a chiropractor for the Webster technique if he's still breech after my next appointment.

Are you having a baby shower? sprinkle? Are you looking forward to it? My first shower was this past weekend! We had it on the early side because I had to fly for it. It was so great to see everyone and people were incredibly generous. I have another shower in a few weeks with my friends and I'm very excited for it. It's a laid back co-ed BBQ, so it should be a lot of fun.

What is next? (Appointments, milestones)? I have another check up next Friday and then a growth scan to monitor the spot on his liver on the 20th
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? I'm getting super uncomfortable sitting. Go figure. During the week when I'm at work I'm so much more exhausted after days at my very sedentary job than I am on weekends when we're go go going. My ankles are also getting swollen during the week, too, and I think it's just from sitting all day. I'm so ready to be done with work. I love my job, and I don't plan to stop working ever, but my head just isn't in the game right now. My boss begged me to make it to July 1st, so I'll do that for him LOL. We used to be counterparts until a reorg made him my boss, so we're more like colleagues than boss/direct report, so we can have these candid convos and it's totally normal haha.

My sprinkle is on the 26th, which also happens to be my birthday - don't get me started on this, it wasn't my choice for it to be on my bday, I feel kinda weird about it. However, I'm looking forward to seeing if we'll be able to cross off anything still on our list so that I can finally go out and purchase the rest of what we need and get things organized.

Next appt is on Monday; doing my best to get registered with the hospital up here (we just moved) so I can register for some classes--you have to have a patient number before you can register! I have tried explaining to them how very pregnant I am; I am worried the classes will all be full

Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Hitting the 8 month mark has definitely slowed me down. We're still trying to get our new house together, inside and out (gardening), and I just can't do much without being exhausted.

I am looking forward to it, since it is back home (3 hours away now), so I am looking forward to seeing everyone and seeing what we still need so we can set up the nursery. One of the people throwing it for me just had a baby about 2 weeks ago, and they originally wanted to wait til July for my shower--I am so glad they didn't! I really want to get into nesting mode, but I need to know what we still need. I also had lunch with my new department chair this week, and she said they want to throw me a little baby shower lunch up here, which is so sweet because I haven't even started working there yet!

Rants/Raves/Symptoms? This foot swelling crap stinks. I guess I am lucky as it goes down for the most part after sleeping at night. However, I only have one pair of shoes that I can really wear all day at work. The rest cut off my circulation.
At my 30 week appointment on Monday I talked to my OB about dizzy spells since they were starting to become longer and more frequent. Basically I have extremely low blood pressure. So this is causing the dizzy spells. She told me to drink even more water and drink some caffeine when it happens to help. She doesn't want my blood pressure to get any lower.
I haven't heard of anyone else having low blood pressure issues so this was all new to me. I have always had low blood pressure but it is very low for being pregnant. With My first pregnancy my blood pressure leveled out to normal after a few months.
On a positive note my dad finally installed a fan/light in the nursery (it only had lamps before). It took a few holes in the walls for wiring but it is in!! Now my husband and his twin have fixed all the holes and will be painting this weekend. I am so excited that her room is finally coming together.
