Wednesday Ticker Change 6/8

What's new with baby (how far along are you, size, development)?

Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival?

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions:

When is your next appointment?

GTKY: What are you most looking forward to with this pregnancy? Delivery? Baby Kicks? Maternity Clothes?

  • What's new with baby (how far along are you, size, development)?
9 weeks! Baby is the size of a Cherry!
Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival?
Well, now we've been discussing pressing my dad to get the basement finished sooner lol. We sort of need that space to move DH office downstairs so we can have the 2nd bedroom upstairs for the kiddos. 4 in one room was already getting cramped so 5 is soooo not an option!
    Rant/rave/symptoms/questions:
I'm sooooo sick of Morning Sickness...yesterday was awful and I just want to sleep all day, which isn't really possible with 4 kids home for summer lol.
    When is your next appointment?
June 30th! Ready to get into the groove of things.
GTKY: What are you most looking forward to with this pregnancy? Delivery? Baby Kicks? Maternity Clothes? I am looking forward to when baby gets the hiccups! It is the funniest thing to feel, and I remembered all 4 of my others getting them :)

I sometimes get annoyed by baby womb hiccups, then I get annoyed at myself for being annoyed!  But my babies tend to get them for loooong periods of time and I feel bad for them, too!
  • Ha! Yea I can see how it could get annoying if it was for a super prolonged time!

What's new with baby (how far along are you, size, development)? 7 weeks baby is the size of a Blueberry!! Its wiggling a lot but of course I can't feel it!

Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival?  Not yet really, just hanging out for now.

Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I have had really bad morning sickness since Friday last week, but today it eased up a bit and I've felt great... aside from the allergies I have had all day, I used an entire box of tissues while sneezing!! Gahh my nose looks like rudalph!!

GTKY: What are you most looking forward to with this pregnancy? Delivery? Baby Kicks? Maternity Clothes?  I would say def. Baby kicks!! And little baby outfits :)

I am 7 weeks today. Baby is the size of a blueberry.

Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival?

I won't do anything until we find out if we're having a boy or girl. I have a 3 year old boy, so if we have another boy I just need to go through things and decide what I want to keep for this time around. If it's a girl, it will be an almost complete clean out because many things we have (all clothes for example) are pretty gender specific.

    Rant/rave/symptoms/questions:

I'm super tired. I'm a little nauseous. I am very constipated.

    When is your next appointment?

I go in next Wednesday for my first OB visit and dating ultrasound. I went in this week for nurse visit and blood work.

GTKY: What are you most looking forward to with this pregnancy? Delivery? Baby Kicks? Maternity Clothes?

I had a tough time with my first pregnancy's delivery and found out some things were wrong on my delivery date that didn't get caught during my pregnancy.  So, I'm definitely nervous about this pregnancy and delivery process. I'll feel a little better after the first couple of ultrasounds and hopefully hearing good news that everything looks on track.
  • What's new with baby (how far along are you, size, development)?
9 weeks! Baby is the size of an eastern tailed blue butterfly and his/her bones are starting to harden.

Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival?
    no not yet
    Rant/rave/symptoms/questions:
so I had a scary moment on Monday. We are 15 hours away from home in California visiting family. I had a gush of blood and passed a few clot type things. Naturally, I freaked out and called my advice nurse. She didn't sound too concerned about what i described and just said to monitor. I didn't have any more bleeding but some brown discharge. I made my husband take to the ER which had a 4 hour wait so we ended up coming home to be with our toddler. I'm just so paranoid and nervous. I want to know everything is ok and hear a heartbeat. But I have to wait until we get home next week. torture!!

    When is your next appointment?
June 27th but I hope to get in next week to check on baby.

GTKY: What are you most looking forward to with this pregnancy? Delivery? Baby Kicks? Maternity Clothes?
im mostly looking forward to spending quality time with my baby just me and him/her before they enter the world and I have two kids. I'll never have the special one on one time I've had with my first born and that makes me sad but it will be a different kind of amazing.

9 weeks.  The size of an olive.

I am contemplating taking out the stored baby stuff we have, if only to get out my old maternity clothes.
    Rant/rave/symptoms/questions:
Symptoms: fatigue, sore breasts, constipation thanks to my prenatal, and nausea every evening.
    When is your next appointment?
    Monday.

I am definitely not looking forward to maternity clothes, haha.  I am very much looking forward to feeling the baby move.  They say you feel it sooner with 2nd+ pregnancies. I first felt it at 18 weeks with my first, so I am hoping to feel it sooner this time.  Bar none, it's my favorite thing about being pregnant.

  • @cabu14 all boys, ages 10, 7, almost 4 and almost 2 lol. Bedtime is tricky, but we do them in phases so it's not trying to get 4 kids to sleep at once in one room lol. For awhile we put the youngest to bed first then the next youngest then the two oldest, but our second youngest has started to wake up the youngest one when going to bed so we'll be swapping those two for a bit lol
