The Summer Heat

Hi, I was wondering if anyone was having as much trouble with the heat as I am. I play church softball and at almost every practice or game now I have to stop after an hour. Its around 80-86 usually and frankly I'm in a low movement position (right field) and don't do much but stand there. Still I have overheated and almost passed out during the last practice. Is the heat effecting anyone else like this?

If you're almost passing out in first tri, it's going to be a long pregnancy. You need to listen to your body and slow down. Some women can continue normal athletic activities until the end, others cannot.

Also I would make sure that you're keeping yourself well hydrated. I had a lot of issues during first tri if I didn't drink at least 80 ounces of water, and my first tri was in the winter. I was an avid runner before becoming pregnant but my body couldn't handle it, so I had to stop. Some ladies can keep going, as pps have said, but you need to listen to your body.

Also forgot to say, I asked the Doc about it and he said I'm anemic so that plays a major factor into how much I can do.
