I'm trying not to be but dang I'm still so mad at my H for feeding one of our dogs SO MUCH people food, he's been sick for a week now and had diarrhea last night while we slept. Poor pup! Also poor me because I woke up early, tried to clean it up and it made me so so sick. Dammit H!!!
(He feels terrible already so I'm not voicing these frustrations to him, it'd do no good at this point. Doesn't make me less frustrated though.)
Ted (the dog) is doing way better, his system's just out of whack. We're starting probiotics tonight. FX for no more poopy morning surprises.
I do not know how you ladies with severe morning sickness function. I have the stomach flu and I'm down the for the count and miserable - all I can think of is 'OMG, some of my BMB moms have to deal with half of those symptoms EVERY. DAY.' - no, no, no. My head is in the toilet and I can't move to step away from my worship of the porcelain goddess. It's awful and y'all have my respect for your fortitude.

Yeah, I'd be pissed too. You're a good person for keeping it to yourself but pancreatitis sucks the big one and can be life-threatening to some pups and kitties. I'm so glad he's doing better but the frustration is real. I totally get you.
Apparently if you are going through TSA and opt out of backscatter for a pat-down, don't even think of telling the TSA agent that you're pregnant.
TSA: "Any sensitive areas?" Me: "My abdomen, I guess, I'm pregnant" TSA: "[rolling eyes at me] Your abdomen HURTS to be touched?" Me: "That's not even what you asked. Ugh, forget it."
So rude for NO reason whatsoever. I'm just going to assume she was having a bad day and let it go but note to self: never tell the TSA you're pregnant unless you want lots of side-eye and rudeness about it.
I thought the closer I got to the second trimester, the better I would feel. Wrong. My morning sickness is worse than ever! I was struggling to make it out of the house this morning for work. I just kept standing in the lawn coughing, trying not to throw up. Sorry neighbors!
We're moving in a few weeks to a rental home that is MUCH closer to DH's office - yay! But I can't seem to find the motivation to pack... I have about 2.5 weeks. Better get started soon!
@canavara I also opted for a pat-down and when she asked about sensitive areas I said: well I am pregnant so my boobs hurt pretty bad. And she said to me: Girl, don't I know about that! Sorry you had a rude lady.

@ThePax89@susykat77 yeah I like to think I just got Grumpy McGrumperson on a heavy AF day as my screener. Then again I've never seen anyone at TSA in NYC be in a good mood. Glad y'all had better experiences!
@mars724 Ooooh you have all my sympathy right now. I teach high school as well, but have been on sabbatical for the year. I cannot tell you how many times in the last month I have said "I can't imagine being in front of a classroom right now." So hats off to you, lady. The end is near (but in a very good way).
My Monday groan is that my DH came home late last night and had quite a bit to drink. He told me he was just stopping by a friends going away party in the afternoon and would be home soon. I cooked dinner, fed our DD, bathed her, and put her to bed all before he got home. I was so pissed that he couldn't just have called me to let me know that he was going to be longer than expected. Also, he knew that I had a massive headache and was waiting for him to get home so I could go get some tylenol since I thought he would be home soon. Then I told him I was just going to go to bed because my head was hurting so bad and he drunkenly decided this was the perfect time to talk about everything under the sun. I finally had to yell at him to get him to stop.
The only thing that made me feel better this morning was listening to him suffer this morning in the bathroom while getting ready for work. I couldn't help but be slightly amused. OK.. Rant over.

I'm so tired of waiting for my first appointment. It's next Monday. But I've known for 3 weeks now and it's like killing me! I just want to know everything is ok.
31 years young from Seattle(ish) 5 years married FTM and PGAL EDD is 12/23/17 -- It's a BOY! ---
@moonlady I feel you on that, the waiting is the worst! I still have two more weeks until mine.
So I have a really stupid Monday moan. I've been keeping ginger ale in the fridge for settling my stomach, and it's in cans. But each time I start drinking one, I only drink about half of it and then I don't want the rest. And I have no idea what to do with this half can of ginger ale. I know I can just buy a 2-liter instead, but we still have so many cans left that I need to go through those first.
I think my MS is starting, but slowly. I'm just getting more queasy around 1pm and lasts until about 8pm. It's not enough to make me feel nauseous nauseous, but it's enough to feel it and want to eat something to make it go away. Nice part: sweet foods (usually my favorite and crave) have been sounding less than appealing and quite disgusting. They taste good when I eat them, but the thought of eating them does not sound great...so I've been eating much less sweets which is great, because I wanted to decrease my sugar intake for baby sake. Our bodies know what they need!
I've been so extremely dizzy for the last two weeks. I missed 4 days of work, used up all my PTO, and can't figure out if it's from pregnancy or because I introduced gluten back into my diet since carbs are the only things I've been able to stomach. Nausea has gone down to haunting me only a few sporadic hours of the day (like when I'm trying to plan what we're eating...), but this dizziness is scary.

I'm so sorry about the dizziness @PMForbie Have you talked to or seen your doctor about it? I had that so bad with my last pregnancy. I'm curious as to what your doctor said about it. Maybe a blood pressure thing?
@lindsladle15 I have a 10 week appointment on Thursday. Silly me, once I saw the ultrasound at the 8 week appointment, I forgot everything including the dizzy spells and all day nausea. My DH is going to make sure I remember this time! LOL

@PMForbie I had vertigo with my last pregnancy and it was really scary. Definitely talk to your doc but in the meantime try to up your water intake. It can happen because of dehydration. I drink a ton of water normally but I needed to up my water intake even more.

Has anyone been having extra problems with the pregnancy super nose? I swear I can smell every person at arms length. Deodorant, sweat, etc. I can smell some perfume and cigarette smoke on clothes from across a room!
Woo nausea kicked in!!! No fun. OB thinks I'm 7weeks today based on CD1, but I ovulated 3 weeks in instead of 2 weeks, so I anticipate baby being measured back a week once I have the US....so I think today is actually 6 weeks exactly. I've been somewhat increasingly queasy the last few days, but this morning it's been worse. No vomiting yet, though. So far it's not that bad.
So last night at my sons baseball game MIL said "I think I see a baby bump already! Are you growing a big one this time?" thaaaaaaaaanks! Not helpful at all! I just laughed and said yep, they all were! She said well not the last 2 (6lbers) but I reminded her that *I* get huge regardless of how big baby is. Ugh, not a convo I was wanting.
@BAJDesigns I always have a sensitive nose but now it's in overdrive and connected to my stomach. FIL went in our car this weekend and his cologne was so strong we had to blast the air (it was raining so couldn't open windows) and I tried to sneakily cover my nose. It was AWFUL!
It's not Monday anymore, but I've been moaning about this since then.... Something is wrong with our water (I'm hoping hoping hoping we don't have to put a new well in....we had to replace the well head when we moved in a few years ago) and whenever I shower it's like there is a residue left in my hair and it looks/feels greasy. So gross, especially on top of feeling gross from ms. I've been playing phone tag with the water guy, too.
@BAJDesigns I don't have a super sensitivity to smells this time, but my last pregnancy that was my worst symptom of first trimester. It's actually how we figured out I was pregnant. I could smell the dog when he was outside of the vehicle with the windows up, and he didn't ride inside the vehicle ever so it wasn't just like left over smell from that.
I also am a teacher, so the smells at school would almost make it so I couldn't function. My district decided to get smelly dry erase markers during that time. They almost killed me. Think multiple fake fruit smells at the same time as the kids used them. Ugh. I still shudder thinking how it made me feel.
