When is your next appointment?
I have a scan at 10 weeks on the 15th and then my 12 week scan and appointment on July 1st
8 weeks! This is completely uncharted territory for me! Baby is the size of a raspberry or wild strawberry depending on who you ask but Cletus the fetus has finally has fingers!

8w from LMP but thinking I'm actually 9weeks
Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival? Nothing yet

The constant nausea and vomiting is really wearing on me. I know it's a good sign after having 2 losses but it still very hard when your in the thick of it.
When is your next appointment? My first ultrasound is this Thursday at 8w4d and I'm excited but very nervous. This is where I found out my last baby didn't have a heartbeat.

Morning sickness forever! Coupled with intense constipation is just so fun. I had some scary spotting yesterday but it's most likely directly related to the constipation ugh.

First OB appt is this week- Thursday at the butt crack of dawn (ouch!)

We were neighbors at my first apartment. He lived below me, I used to sit outside smoking like such a cool kid and he was so shy he'd duck his head and run lol! I had to corner him to talk to me. I don't really remember our first date, we just gradually started hanging out, it was probably Chinese and a movie B/c this Chinese place by our old apartment was SO GOOD

We met at a friends house the first time...the second he came into my work, the third (& charmed) time I went into his work and he was my waiter. Handsome in all black. Hehe.
First date was Chinese food/bar. He held my hand and I melted.

We met through mutual friends at a birthday, he then presued me by doing everything wrong but it all worked. First date was at an upscale pizza place.

GTKY: how did you and your SO meet? What was your first date? We met on the internet. Our first date was lunch followed by the beach followed by dinner followed by a bar ended 14 hrs after it started!

I talked my hubby into doing a babymoon this time around! We are planning on going to North Carolina in October. My ultimate goal - have him fall in love with that state so that we can move there!

What's new with baby (how far along are you, size, development)?
9 weeks yesterday, so the size of a cherry...or the "One Ring" (I might have to start calling this baby "My Precious...." LOL

Hubby and I wandered through Babies R Us on Saturday night...we're also starting to figure out how to transition the spare bedroom (which is currently the cat's room) into the Nursery. We've already picked out the nursery theme, which is gender-neutral (a woodland theme) and DH painted a couple samples on the walls for us to look at and decide on.

I had two awesome ultrasounds last week, showing growth between the two, and so I'm feeling pretty good! MS is still there, but that's okay - I'm willing to take it as the sign of a healthy, growing baby!
When is your next appointment?
I have my first appointment with one of the CNMs at the practice on 6/28, and my NT ultrasound on 7/1.
GTKY: how did you and your SO meet? What was your first date?
We met a Freshman Orientation for College, but didn't start dating for more than a year later after some awkward back and forth "friend-zoning." Our first date was actually just hanging out in his dorm room watching movies, and that was almost 11 years ago!
