Is it safe to sleep laying on your back at 13 weeks ? I've read that after a certain period of time you shouldn't because it cuts the airway to the baby.
You can sleep on your back as long as you are comfortable. The weight of the baby pressing into you will tell you when you should stop sleeping on your back.
I had heard 20 weeks was the cutoff. I was totally comfortable on my back until at least 18, and even after that I was fine for a few minutes if it gave me relief from being on my side. You'll be uncomfortable and that will tell you when to move.
