I completely understand, @pennstatecait. I'm sorry The numbers creeping up is such a killer every month (I'm 7/8). My DH went in for a SA last month. Maybe knock that off the list? It felt good knowing I was doing something, but not overreacting. So many hugs to you. Be good to yourself
DH called his dr and he referred him to a place that did it. Our insurance covered it, but if it wasn't covered it was about $200, which I was willing to fork over. You just have to be careful with scheduling because there are certain days before he has to be abstinent and that would suck during FW
R/R/CS: I'm proud that I'm temping at the same time every morning. 24 days till doc appt!
GTKY: If you could spend the day with one celebrity, who would it be? It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@PennStateCait i know exactly how you feel. I'm so sorry about cd 1. I went to my doctor at 6 months since I have PCOS and he said after 6 months of confirmed O and wel times sex it was time to start looking into togther stuff. We're going to an RE on June 20th. I'm thinking SA for DH and HSG for me. The. Probably medicated cycles with monitoring. Unless I'm a special snowflake and get KU this cycle right before the RE consult. I think it's a good idea to get some things rules out now. Like an SA and HSG.
Cycle: 8/8
CD: 16
WAYDTGKU: the usual things
R/R/CS: still getting high on my CBAD. FF predicted O today. I think it's going to be delayed a little. Not temping has its drawbacks kinda wish I knew. But not temping has made the cycle less stressful. our timing should still be good so there is that.
GTKY: If you could spend the day with one celebrity, who would it be?
id like to hang out with Gordon Ramsey. I'd eat everything!
@wineo929 ok great tip about timing, too thank you! I'll talk to him tonight about this. I have no idea how he'll take it.. men can be so sensitive about all this.
@JediAlly85 Ok, thank you. You both have validated my concerns and my need to call the dr. I will use the verbage you used too "well timed intercourse and confirmed O." I don't know if you want to get your hopes up but my SIL was a special snowflake and got a bfp about a week before her RE consultation appt.

@PennStateCait oh my hopes are already up. I've tried to stop it. Especially with taking the cycle off of temping. But appointment is day after fathers day. And I have this glorious idea in my head of getting a bfp on Father's Day. Thanks for the anecdote though stories like that give me hope. Wether or not it rings true for me is one thing. But right now I'm at the full of hope part of my cycle lol.
Good luck with your doctor. Fx you can get a good plan going soon. That's one thing that gives me hope. Even if this cycle fails I'll have the appt soon and then maybe we will have a plan.
@ladymillil sorry about cd1. it's cruel when post-o temps are so deceiving. @pennstatecait sorry about Cd1. I called my ob/gyn to make an appointment after I got my period on our 9th cycle trying, but we stopped using all methods of birth control last June after we got married. I know our insurance won't cover additional testing unless it's been a year.
@felix08 My conversation with myself when I wrote the CD... "I think it's CD 7. Should I check FF first? Nah. One of the squad will correct me if I'm wrong."
ETA: @PennStateCait sorry about CD1. Sending creepy internet hugs. We are always here to listen to (read?) any woe is me posts so don't feel guilty about that. Be kind to yourself today.
@LadyMillil I was so
hopeful for you. Such a pretty chart. Sad to see you
@MamaMunn Glad you
didn't have too many side affects! Fx it does it's thing!
@PennStateCait It
takes time for small adjustments to affect your body, at least that's what I
told myself when I didn't O after doing Whole30. I wouldn't count it out as not
helping at all! I know a lot the ladies on here who are thinking they may need to
get referred call way ahead. A lot of the more popular/busy clinics book a few
months out. Best case scenario, you make an appointment for the year mark and
get to cancel because you are already KU!
Month/cycle: 6/2
CD: 14
WAYDTGKU: PNV. Whole30 (finished), HBC
(finished), Letrozole (finished), U/S (no sign of growth/ovulation), then
progesterone blood work(Friday), Doctor recheck (next Monday). AND temping,
using OPK's and HIO just in case.
R/R/CS: Finally
feeling in a bit better place after my crappy ultrasound showed I didn't
respond to my meds this cycle. Needed a bit of time off from the daily threads.
150+ days in WTO and ZERO in TWW is super annoying and draining.
GTKY: Probably someone my age who is
funny/sarcastic. I'm going to go with Anna Kendrick. She seems like she'd be a
lot of fun!
R/R/CS: After spending ALL day at the baseball fields yesterday, I came home to "nap" and ended up sleeping from about 5pm-7am! Whaaaaaaaat?!? It was so nice. I never sleep like that. But then I also missed the time to take my temperature. Hopefully it won't affect my chart too much. Based on FF I still have about 4 days til O, so I need to make sure I'm temping in the mornings. It's just so hard to wake up so early on the weekends (even if it is just to take my temperature).
GTKY: If you could spend the day with one celebrity, who would it be?
Taylor Swift. I love her and I would love to be a part of her girl group. They just seem to really have fun and support each other.
WAYDTGKU: Temping and just bought clear blue digital ovulation tests (not advanced). Any have experience with them? I thought it would be good to know when exactly my surge happens in relationship to my temp spike and ovulation. I had good timing last cycle and the cycle before when we weren't trying to coincidentally good so now I'm wondering if my surge is sooner than later.
R/R/CS: My rants are me being annoyed with everyone being pregnant or just having their 2nd 3rd and 4th kids. I know it's my age (early 30's) but it's still annoying to constantly hear or be around etc. My family I'm happy for, everyone else just seems to be complaining about how it was such an accident. Like shut the f-ck up, unprotected dtd is never actually an "accident." My sister pointed this out when I got pregnant with my first and was engaged, so obviously not planned. However she was right, we obviously took a risk and rolled the dice - nothing is actually ever an "accident", it's an intentional risk you took and rationalized you would be ok with the outcome but didn't think the outcome would actually occur. Anyways...
GTKY: probably someone on Suits, I love that show or perhaps the property brothers. They seem really funny and like normal people.
I'm sorry for CD1 @PennStateCait At around your time we called for bloodwork and an SA (ordered by DH's PCP). I was having wonky cycles so we decided to get the easy stuff out of the way. My cycles got weirder and at that point my OB said there wasn't anything else she could do, and referred me out last cycle to an RE. We see them on the 24th. Like PPs said, it may help just to feel like you're doing something to help.
Cycle: 11/9
CD: 9
WAYDTGKU: Just temping. All the other stuff will start eventually.
R/R/CS: Whiney non-TTC rant alert: I gained weight on our honeymoon (5-7ish lbs) and cannot seem to shake it. Finally this past week I got tired of feeling annoyed by not fitting in clothes and not feeling healthy, so I decided to be healthier. More gym, healthy meals. And I GAINED weight apparently. Not just a few ounces, like two pounds. WTF body. I started on the biggest loser thing on here but I kept forgetting to weigh myself so I stopped. Now I'm just so disheartened and feeling like I may as well just eat what I want if being healthier lead to a weight gain. Ugh. /rant
GTKY: If you could spend the day with one celebrity, who would it be? Anthony Bourdain. I'd love to have a beer with him and listen to stories about food and his travels.
DD born PPROM preemie at 36 weeks on 10/1/17 after over a year TI, then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW, because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!
Definitely look into your insurance to see if they will cover any testing before the year mark, and if they will cover treatments before the year mark. I know some plans won't cover anything before 1 year regardless of diagnosis/symptoms. Also look into what you need for an RE referral. Do you have an annual exam coming up? If so, I would just wait for that to discuss TTC concerns. My PCP did a blood test to check hormone levels (tsh, fsh, LH, estrogen, progesterone, dhea, testosterone, prolactin) and an ultrasound (checking for cysts and any abnormalities) because it's not really invasive and can rule out a lot of problems. @PennStateCait
R/R/CS: MIL just left. Puppies are still looking for her like "Why would Mimi leave us?" I got a salad at my fav Mexican place (and not a taco salad) so today is already a win, amiright? Red Sox are allowing a no hitter in the 7th...boo.

Cycle: 1/1
CD: 16
WAYDTGKU: creating open circles all over my chart while temping, CM
R/R/CS: No OPKs this cycle but based on CM, this mornings temp, and hindsight on recent symptoms, I believe I O'd yesterday. I mentioned this yesterday but temping has been such a cluster this cycle and it's not only due to the random wake up times! This morning, I fell asleep after temping but the thermometer didn't make it back to the nightstand and instead was imprinted into my hip when I woke up for the day. A few times this cycle Ive managed to grab my Chapstick instead of the BBT...and I temp vaginally. Thankfully I figured it out before things got too far but goodness, it's been a mess! I overestimated my ability to temp effectively after being out of the habit for two years.
GTKY: If you could spend the day with one celebrity, who would it be? Prior to teaching, my job allowed me to interact with a lot of my 'bucket list' celebs and even one from my 'pass list' (DH loved when I got that assignment )!However, I'm going to steal your answer, @krys, because I've got major puffy heart eyes love for Joanna, too!
@mrsdee15 - Are you using any kind of tracker for your food intake & exercise? I love MyFitnessPal.com because sometimes when you switch up the types of food you're eating, you end up eating more.
Cycle: 1 of active TTC after 3 of NTNP.

WAYDTGKU: CM, starting OPKs and probably temping this cycle.
R/R/CS: I am sore and exhausted today. I mowed about 1/2 an acre of the yard yesterday, but there's still so much to get done. It's been raining all day, though, so I'm taking it easy. On a brighter note, AF is on her way out, so I can start actually doing something on the TTC front again!
GTKY: If you could spend the day with one celebrity, who would it be?
Johnathan Scott from Property Brothers - totally my celebrity crush.
@LadyMillil So sorry about CD1. The pretty-chart fake-out is the worst. @PennStateCait Sorry about CD1. Sucks every. single. time. I hope you find some answers between your insurance and doctors that make sense so you don't have to feel like you're losing too much time. I'm afraid I'm a bad example, bc I waited for an entire year, between 6 months NTNP and then another 6 months TTC before I went in, but it's all good now. Still moving forward painfully slowly, but at least it's moving forward. ((hugs))
Cycle: 23 temping / 6 NTNP / 8 TTC

WAYDTGKU: CD 7 is here so started B6 and Mucinex, plus OPKs today. FertileCM and Ovaboost with regular PNVs/Calcium/CoQ10/DHA/Zinc/Selenium. Will start to HIO here any minute... starting low-dose Progesterone for 3DPO-12DPO.
R/R/CS: I think it was @Krys who said she was having so much trouble with the CBAds she gave up and it was that kind of morning with them. Fortunately I managed to squeeze out enough pee for a second test (kicking myself for not using a cup in the first place) even though I wasn't waiting the four hours to re-test, I just needed a low baseline anyway, since last cycle I waited to long to start them and went straight from O to Peak overnight! lol Making a point to start them early enough this time...
Also, NBR rant: Apparently I need to get DH this shirt: Nuff said. :D

@pennstatecait sorry about Cd1. I called my ob/gyn to make an appointment after I got my period on our 9th cycle trying, but we stopped using all methods of birth control last June after we got married. I know our insurance won't cover additional testing unless it's been a year.

WAYDTGKU:ah, should start temping here pretty soon

@LadyMillil I was so hopeful for you. Such a pretty chart. Sad to see you
@MamaMunn Glad you didn't have too many side affects! Fx it does it's thing!
@PennStateCait It takes time for small adjustments to affect your body, at least that's what I told myself when I didn't O after doing Whole30. I wouldn't count it out as not helping at all! I know a lot the ladies on here who are thinking they may need to get referred call way ahead. A lot of the more popular/busy clinics book a few months out. Best case scenario, you make an appointment for the year mark and get to cancel because you are already KU!
Month/cycle: 6/2
CD: 14
WAYDTGKU: PNV. Whole30 (finished), HBC (finished), Letrozole (finished), U/S (no sign of growth/ovulation), then progesterone blood work(Friday), Doctor recheck (next Monday). AND temping, using OPK's and HIO just in case.
R/R/CS: Finally feeling in a bit better place after my crappy ultrasound showed I didn't respond to my meds this cycle. Needed a bit of time off from the daily threads. 150+ days in WTO and ZERO in TWW is super annoying and draining.
GTKY: Probably someone my age who is funny/sarcastic. I'm going to go with Anna Kendrick. She seems like she'd be a lot of fun!

Cycle: 11/9

Cycle: 1/1

@PennStateCait Sorry about CD1. Sucks every. single. time. I hope you find some answers between your insurance and doctors that make sense so you don't have to feel like you're losing too much time. I'm afraid I'm a bad example, bc I waited for an entire year, between 6 months NTNP and then another 6 months TTC before I went in, but it's all good now. Still moving forward painfully slowly, but at least it's moving forward. ((hugs))
Cycle: 23 temping / 6 NTNP / 8 TTC
CD: 7
Also, NBR rant: Apparently I need to get DH this shirt:

R/R/CS: I got my puppy!!! Earlier than I thought, but nonetheless I'm a happy girl! He's too precious. Love him to bits already.
