Decrease in contractions??

So I'm a FTM and officially 3 days overdue. And over the past few days I've had a decrease in contractions...?!? Is this normal? I'm trying everything to go into labor: sex, long walks, squats, bouncing on a birth ball, raspberry tea. WTF?!?!

    Mine have been coming and going since 37 weeks. The body is getting ready, totally normal. Hang in there, you're close!

    Yes, I stopped having them altogether for about 3 days last week, then they returned with a vengeance. It's all for not, though, as I'm sure they're still BH. First time babies are notoriously late-comers, so nothing you can do. If, after 41 weeks, nothing is going on with your cervix, I'm sure you guys will talk inducing. I was induced at 42 weeks with my first. I understand the frustration. Best of luck to you!
