Start a new week today? You found the right place.
How many weeks? Size?: 36 weeks- He's a papaya, cabbage patch doll, chihuahua.
Baby related stuff this week?: Its my last week of pregnancy! He will probably be here by next Saturday. Insane! We don't have anything else we need to do at home which is nice.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms?: He has dropped pretty darn low and its easier to breathe. Morning nausea is back and I need to eat first thing. Otherwise its been pretty calm lately as far as symptoms go.
GTKY: If you could go anywhere right now, where would you go?: I think floating down a lazy river with a drink in my hand sounds fabulous for today. Especially given its suppose to be 100+ degrees. Instead we get to take the dog to the vet and my inlaws want to come over and visit. So fun...
How many weeks? Size? 36 weeks! Chihuahua sized! Holy hell.
Baby related stuff this week? Appt on Wednesday with GBS check, bag packing, car seat base installation...dundundun.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? So much pressure! My back, my pelvis, everything feels like it's at the breaking point. And it's so hot, blechhhhhh. Good thing I have otter pops.
GTKY: If you could go anywhere right now, where would you go? I want to go to the beach or the mountain, but I also don't want to be in the car so it's tough. I'd love to go stay in a cabin on Mt Hood for a few nights, maybe at Lost Lake...
I will be meeting with a new doc next thurs for my appt in case she's on call when I go into labor. We still need to finalize our wills, install the car seat and pack hospital bag/make a hospital bag this which will be done this weekend. Tomorrow we meet with our doula to discuss the birth.
Ar my last appt, my doc told me that my fundal height is measuring behind. Trying not to freak out about that.... I have to do a growth ultrasound but they couldn't get me in for two weeks. On the plus side, this week went by really fast and the Memorial Day holiday was nice! Symptoms aren't terrible- sleep is hit or miss, sometimes I wake up with heartburn...but nothing too bad.
i would travel to Milwaukee for my nieces dance recital today.
How many weeks? Size? 32 weeks - 2 pomelos/scooter boards/aardvarks
Baby related stuff this week? Weekly appointments now after our appointment last Thursday. Babies were 4lbs 1 oz and 4lbs 8 oz. Growing some big twins!
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Back pain is really getting me down. My perinatologist wants me to see a physical therapist.
GTKY: If you could go anywhere right now, where would you go? Somewhere that's about 70 degrees and sunny. I'm over the heat we have here. And I'm in a wedding next weekend that's outside and it's going to be 94 degrees. I don't know if I'm going to be able to make it.
How many weeks? Size?: 36 weeks- He's a papaya, cabbage patch doll, chihuahua.
Baby related stuff this week?: I have my first weekly appointment on Thursday. At our last appointment the dr said he was going to send me for another ultrasound after Thursday, so I'm hoping we see he's still head down and I'd be super thrilled to see some progress. My fundal height is still measuring big, but its consistent with the last few weeks so he isn't worried. I'm so hoping because he's big he might come a few days early.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms?: Back and hip pain are making me waddle and I'm getting a ton more swelling in my hands and feet in the last few days. And I'm ragey. My poor husband. I go from ragey to weepy in minutes. I just can't control it anymore!!
GTKY: If you could go anywhere right now, where would you go?: Nowhere. I have to drive to my mom's place (an hour away) at some point this afternoon and I really don't want to go. I know she's going to drive me crazy and I just don't want to deal with it.
Baby related stuff this week?: Finishing touches on the nursery tomorrow, installing the car seat as soon as it isn't raining or 90 degrees outside (so maybe never, haha), growth ultrasound/NST on Monday
Rants/Raves/Symptoms?: Just so over contractions and pressure. Oh, and I'm hungrier lately, which I don't get. Seems like it should be the opposite at this point.
GTKY: If you could go anywhere right now, where would you go?: The beach. I'm kind of bummed that we aren't going to make it down this year, but I guess the new LO is worth it.
mostly everything is done... Few minor decorations needed for nursery but otherwise we're good to go!!!
been a bit of a roller coaster ride... Twice weekly NST's and BPP's now... Blood pressure is high at doc's so had blood work done but everything looked okay... Not on bed rest but no working out and have to take it easy... Monitoring at home and it's been fairly normal but amniotic fluid levels were low two weeks ago but have since rebounded. Trying to avoid hospital admittance and or early induction so fingers crossed everything stays within reason.
Id go to my family's summer house in Wildwood, NJ (it's a 100+ year old dilapidated house that was my grandmothers)... It's the first summer we won't be there and its making me a bit sad... But it makes me look forward to next near when we can bring our little beach baby there and start that tradition

Monday I have an appt with the mfm to recheck fluid levels since my last appt showed higher than normal levels. Wed I have an OB appt and GBS.
Lots of lower back pain and pressure and I'm so tired.
Does my bed count? Because that sounds amazing right now.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Feeling pretty good. Baby is finally getting feistier moving around in there. Still hoping baby is mellowed than big sister was.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms?
I'm annoyed by all the pressure, cramps and back pain.
GTKY: If you could go anywhere right now, where would you go?
Anywhere sunny and warm. I'm tired of all the weird weather we've been having.
