    What road did you take to get your BFP (ie IUI, IFV, etc)? Had to go IVF with ICSI. Did 2 rounds of retrievals. First was good, second was terrible. Did PGS testing. Ended up with only 2 good embryos.

  • @Drove2u I definitely am attached to my nurses. My RE is actually moving out of state in June, so then I REALLY won't get to see him and I'll just be working with PAs. I wish he could wait til I graduated...

    I am still on crinone only. Finished PIO last week. Still waiting for phone call on prog levels. Maybe I can get off crinone today. :-) that would be awesome! I have to go back to office to pick up my records for obgyn. And then will be going back again to donate my meds when I am ready.
  • @Drove2u Glad you get to be done with PIO! I organized the things that I am ready to donate, but I am waiting til I am all with everything before I do. Also, someone a while ago mentioned that there may be mail-in rebates for some IVF meds, so I want to look into that before I get rid of boxes.

    Just got the call that I can finish crinone on Friday. Whoo hoo!!
    Yeah idont know why I'm attached to my meds. They weren't expensive for me since insurance covered it. But I'm glad they could help someone who needs it.
  • @Drove2u - How many weeks are you that they took you off of your meds? It's so interesting how different each dr's protocall is. My RE has me on POI & estrace until 10 weeks post transfer.. My last shot isn't until 6/21 and I couldn't be more ready to be done! I feel like my hips are permanently bruised.

    @griffin5413 so I got off PIO when I was 7 weeks. And my prog dropped so they said for peace of mind I can go back on it. I took one injection that day but haven't since. They explained to me that crinone is doing its job it just doesn't show in blood tests. So that made me feel better. So now I get off crinone Friday when I will be 9 weeks, 5 days. My progesterone today was 19 which isn't very high. But it dropped to a 10 when I got off PIO so it's been rising on its own.
  • @Griffin5413 Our RE told us to stop taking PIO at 7 weeks 5 days. The OB told us to stick with what they told us but it seems kind of early compared to others....
  • @Drove2u & @jpangia - my RE has seemed to be on the more conservative side which is why I think he keeps us on so long. B/c Progesterone is what helps the placenta form and with really low levels, it could cause miscarriage. Even though I'm so ready to be done with the shots & estradoil (19 more days!) I'll do it as long as they want me to if it means better chances for a healthy pregnancy.

  • It definitely seems like my RE is keeping me on for a long time compared to others! They'll gradually be weaning me off the PIO and estradiol, but I'll likely be on at least a small dose until almost 12 weeks.

    I just typed a comment and it didn't show up. I will try again later.

  • -What road did you take to get your BFP (ie IUI, IFV, etc)? IVF with ICSI , husband had tese for sperm retrieval , 4 years ttc, 2 years since first tese, 1 year since first retrieval, 1 failed FET, 1 fresh transfer (success), no frozen embryos to spare (husband has had 4 tese ,  severe MFI)

    -When is your due date? 2/8/17

    -Anything else you want to share? Huge Ig community that has helped me the past year

  • @Joyzie77 wow how exciting! yes tired and nauseous all the time..

    @fefewa14 welcome and congrats!
