Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival? Nothing really this week, except continuing to read all the things.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Experienced my first sort-of MS last night. I woke up a few hours before my alarm because my stomach felt like it was doing somersaults. I have a few big meetings today at work, so hopefully it doesn't decide to appear in full force during any of those.
When is your next appointment? June 20th. Only 17 days!
GTKY: What's your favorite show to binge watch over the weekend? I watch a lot of HGTV over the weekends, and my H and I love sitting around and watching whatever show they're marathoning. My favorite is the Property Brothers!

Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival? We've already looked at one daycare center and we're looking at another this afternoon. We're also trying to figure out where we should move to at the end of August and how much we should budget for an emergency baby fund.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I've been gagging every time I brush my teeth, but no real morning sickness yet. I've been having a lot of food aversions and cravings, and the cramping is almost gone, but oh my god the bloat. I'm now wearing maternity yoga pants and light jersey dresses to work because I couldn't button my jeans this week.
When is your next appointment? June 17th is my elective ultrasound, and July 1st is my first "real" appointment with my midwives.
GTKY: What's your favorite show to binge watch over the weekend? I love rewatching Law and Order SVU on netflix or Hulu, and I'm also loving that Hulu has started carrying all the seasons of Gordon Ramsay's shows like Hell's Kitchen and The F Word.

7 weeks! Size of a blueberry.
Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival?
The biggest thing is my husband is looking for a new job.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions:
I have lost my appetite! I never now what is going to sound good. The last several days all I wanted to eat were egg sandwiches, but now that sounds nasty. I'm hungry, but I don't know what to eat! Also, naps every day!
When is your next appointment?
Next Friday, we'll have our first U/S. So excited.

I just finished binge watching the show "Parenthood." It was a guilty pleasure.

Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival? DH will probably install hardwood in nursery this weekend. I will of course delegate from a chair.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: I am really ready for the fatigue to be done with. I've been such a sloth lately which is so unlike me. Also this past week my appetite left, which is so weird. I'm ready to shove food in my face again!
When is your next appointment? Second appointment is scheduled for July 1 (13 weeks).

What's new with baby (how far along are you, size, development)? 8 weeks today! Baby is a little raspberry and has started to grow a tongue.
Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival? Still don't really feel it's actually happening to be honest! I'm VERY into planning so it's unlike me. I guess I'm just nervous about miscarrying.
Rant/rave/symptoms/questions: Okay, the bloat is getting UNREAL this week. I wore a dress yesterday and a friend who knows told me she spotted a baby bump (obvs too early for that!). Flowy clothes from now on. I've also had my first MS symptoms this week, with a few hours of feeling nauseous and a yucky taste in my mouth each day since Sunday.
When is your next appointment? I'm not meeting a midwife until the first week of July, but I'm paying for a scan in a private clinic (doing the rest on the NHS) next week! I'm travelling a lot back and forth from England to the US so want to make sure all is well.
GTKY: What's your favorite show to binge watch over the weekend? I haven't had much time for tv lately but I'm starting to get into outlander.

The fatigue is my worst symptom but embarrassingly I'm starting to nit pick. Which is very out of character.

H and I watch Weeds at night and I began watching Friends from the first season. So good!! It crazy how much their characters evolved over 10 years of filming
