I have a friend in Boston were I'm from but I'm know living in FL. She has tons of girls clothing over 3 tots full. Well after we find out what we are having if we are having a girl.
Question: Would you fly there for the weekeend and fill up some suit cases to bring back? I can also visit family while I'm there. but I'll be over 20 weeks than.
Re: Friend with lots of baby clothing
I wouldn't fly up to see her, just to the get the clothing. USPS ground shipping would be much cheaper than a plane ticket.
I don't think you'll be too uncomfortable around 20w, though...so you could fly if you wanted!
I'm going to Seattle (from Anchorage) between 25 and 26 weeks to visit family - I'm 20 weeks on Tuesday and I feel great, this is such an ideal time to travel
if you want to fly go for it - i'm a little shy of 20w and would be more than comfortable to fly. however, i wouldn't fly up there JUST for that. i would ask that she ship some stuff and you can reimburse her.
DD - February 2011
If she's willing to give you the clothes i think its only fair that you foot the bill to get them home. Either via USPS or going up to get them yourself. Flying should be totally fine - the FAA only has major restrictions on flying after 28-30 weeks (i dont recall which)
But USPS shipping is way less than a plane ticket!
It's all up to you. If you want to fly just to visit and see family then go for it. I think you'll be perfectly fine to fly at 20 weeks. I'm 24 and would fly now no problem!
If you don't want to go all the way up there, just ask her if she'll ship them to you and you can reimburse her or send her the money beforehand, whatever is easier.
