Because I have had 2 chemical pregnancies in the past, I had an u/s today. My doctor wanted to see me when I was about 6 weeks and based on due date calculators, we were guessing I am about 6 weeks and a few days on Tuesday (5/31). However at the ultrasound, all that was seen was the gestational sac. Because I have long cycles, my doctor said that we could be only 5 weeks and a few days instead. This wasn't the news we were hoping for. It isn't bad news, just not the little heartbeat we were hoping to see. He said until we see Saturday's results, to be cautiously optimistic. I am on progesterone, baby aspirin, prenatal vitamins, and Folbee vitamins to help support the pregnancy.
I got a positive hpt on 5/11 then 5/12 my HCG was 20 and went up to 128 on 5/16. I went in for blood work today and it was 9231. I go back on Saturday to make sure my HCG is still increasing then I will have another ultrasound on Monday, 6/6 to see if there is anything new. Trying not to worry too much. I was really worried after the ultrasound but relieved with today's results. Hopefully they go up on Saturday and we get to see something on Monday! Should I worry yet or does it sound like things are going to be okay? Anyone else have a similar experience?
UPDATE!
we saw a heartbeat today, I go back for one more ultrasound to check it next week!

@catie8812 I hope you get wonderful news on Monday! FX and I'll be thinking of you. Let us know how it goes.
@NYCProf I am so sorry. I second what @cjs260 said about pain relief when taking misoprostal. I was prescribed some low level pain relief that seemed to do nothing for me.

Thank you for the positive thoughts ladies! My quant on 6/2 was 9231 up from 128 on 5/16. I went back in today and it was 11450. I was expecting it to be higher but I read that after the hcg reaches 6000 it doesn't really double anymore but growth is a good sign. After looking at the quant ranges, I am in range to now be somewhere in 6 weeks instead of 7. I'm hoping this is a good sign and looking for more good news on Monday!
