Hypothalamic amenorrhea and menopur success stories pleasssse

Hello ladies! I have HA and this is my third round of injectables. I used follistim for the first 2 and ended of overstimulating on both of them with a bunch of follicles, but my estrogen never went above 30. I suggested menopur before the start of the third round and they agreed. I stimmed for 14 days on menopur. They started me on 75 units and slowly worked me up to 150. My estrogen finally responded a week ago and went to 50 (that was huge for me). I stayed on the same dose and 4 days ago my estrogen went to 200, with a lining of 6 and a lead follicle of 14. I stayed on the 150 units until yesterday when I went in for an ultrasound. Waiting for the call was torture. My doc finally called and told me my estrogen was 600!, my lining was 11, and my lead follicle was 17 and I had 2 smaller ones at 15. I triggered last night and BD'd last night and will again tonight and tomorrow. Any success stories in this 2 week wait? I am going to go crazy! Is there anything you guys suggest I do or don't do? Can I still run a little, drink wine, etc?

    Welcome and Good Luck! I haven't had any experience with HA. If you're in the 2ww, I would assume you were pregnant and not do anything to jeopardize it until you speak to your doctor. I'm sure you could do light exercise, but you should call the nurse to ask. Keep us posted! :)

    1/2010 - BFP (Natural) --> 10/2010 - DS born! Yay!
    12/2010 - DH diagnosed with stage 3B testicular cancer. #cancersucks
    10/2011 - Complications with DH and lymph nodes in groin area removed. No longer able to ejaculate.
    1/2014 - TTC#2 - IUI#1. No luck. Findings: DH sperm did not survive freeze. RE recommends IVF with ICSI.
    3/2014 - IVF Cycle #1 Started BCP
    4/2014 - Lupron, Gonal-F, and Menopur
    5/7/2014 - ER day (25 eggs retrieved, 15 mature)
    5/10/2014 - 6 fertilized, 3 embryos frozen - one grade A and two Grade B. Plan was to grow out to blastocyst stage but rest of eggs arrested by day 3. Decided to freeze on day 3.
    2/9/2016 - FET #1 with Grade A (8 cell - 3 day embryo); 2/20 - Beta was <5. BFN.  :/ Waiting for period and start next FET.
    7/8/2016 - FET #2 with Grade B (8 cell - 3 day embryo), fingers crossed this one sticks. :)
    7/19 - Beta was 74. BFP!!!!; 7/21 - Beta was 182; 1st U/S on 8/2; 2nd U/S on 8/16 :)

    I am not doing any exercise what so ever! Which is very hard for me! One more week to go :/ this wait sucks

    @Shopaholic42488  - Please make sure you have read the "newbies read this first". From the Newbies Read this first post . . .

    Please be considerate of the fact that you are on an INFERTILITY board. If you get a BFP you know we are all happy for you and wishing you success with your pregnancy.  But keep a few things in mind: 

    #1) Please post BFP announcements in a NEW thread with a BFP Warning in the header 

    #2) If you want to hang us with us until you get your first beta, we are totally ok with that, we are even ok with you hanging around for a 2nd beta if your first one is on the low side [ <100 ] and you want to make sure it doubles appropriately. 

    #3) If you think you might need to stick around the IF board beyond the point of Betas please REFRAIN from announcing your pregnancy until you feel more comfortable moving on to your next board. 

    #4) If you've had 2 or more amazing betas it's time to move on to your choice pregnancy board. There's no reason to hang around the IF board beyond this point.

    Some things to keep in mind when posting photos and posts.

    Diagnosed with Severe Ashermans 
    Hysteroscopy #10 - scar tissue grew back reblocking my right tube
    #11 or IVF with scarring still inside?
    1 lone embryo from September 2016 retreival, dx with Trisomy 16, starting fresh
