I know it's a very common name, pronounced as Lee but I still don't understand why. My brain wants so badly to read it as Lay, just like sleigh or neighbor. Does anyone know why it doesn't follow that "rule" of English?
Lee. I knew someone with the middle name Leigh in high school and I remember one person teased them saying it looks like Lay, and then everyone looked at that person like they were an idiot for thinking that so I think you're good.
