  • You may feel as though you are sleeping well at night but you might be surprised that you aren't sleeping as well as you think you are. If you are like most pregnant women you are likely up a couple of times a night to pee plus rolling over to get more comfortable (I can't sleep on the same side for more than 45 minutes at a time). I was exhausted and started wearing my fitbit to track my sleep and realized I was getting far less sleep than j thought as well as extremely restless sleep. Agree with PP, par for the course at this point and I think it is preparing us for the sleepless nights with a newborn.
  • yes, I started wearing my fitbit to sleep too and realized I was not getting nearly as much sleep as I thought. Sadly, I'm almost at my EDD and still not getting as much sleep as I like, I went on maternity leave last week and have to take a nap everyday.

  • Same problem here. I feel like I sleep well, but still feeling exhausted. And I've even been sleeping in on the weekends when I'm off work. I just chalk it up to this tiny human sucking all my energy, and my body gearing up to spit him out lol.

    This!!!

My afternoon nap is the best sleep. Sometimes I sleep in my car in the parkade at work.

Night time sleep is really uneven. I'm just trying to accept sleep whenever I can get it.
  • Am I the only one waking up to pee 2-3 times a night?

  • On top of sleep issues, I've had some tummy troubles (diarrhea, ugh) as well. This has really knocked me out the last 4 or 5 days (I'm 38w today). Made me dehydrated and shakey. Also all I seem to want to eat is cereal and noodles. If you are not eating and pooping perfectly, make sure you're chugging water, it helps.
I took a two hour nap yesterday afternoon that was so restful and glorious, I wanted to buy it flowers afterwards. I woke up feeling like a different person.
Nap and drink, nap and drink!
  • Peeing all night. I sound like a giant heffalumping through my house at 2am, 3:30am and 5am to pee every single night. I dont even drink anything between 10pm and 7am!!! Where is all this urine coming from!!!
