Has anyone used this to get pregnant? If so, did you use it throughout your fertile period or just during on a peak day? I'm just trying to get a better idea of what would work best. Thanks!

QBF This is a "Trying To Get Pregnant" board, so you won't get a lot of feedback on success stories. Maybe try the 1st Trimester boards instead.

****STUCK IN THE BOX***
It's just a sperm friendly lubricant, use it whenever you want.
Me: 28 DH: 29 Married: August 2014 TTC #1 Since March 2015 Diagnosed with PCOS March 2016 SA results normal April 2016 3 rounds clomid + trigger + TI = BFN 3 rounds clomid + trigger + IUI = BFN Uterine polyp removed July 2017 Round 1 IVF January 2018
It's not a replacement for cervical mucus. It's just a sperm-friendly lube. The packaging (by people who want to sell you more of their product ) only says use it when you wouldn't have sex if you couldn't use lube. So for me, if it's the end of a long FW or we need to get down to business and I'm going to need longer than we have to get in the game, we'll use it. That said, I wouldn't use any other lube during the TTC process. Even if you're 5 DPO or -7 and you intend to just be engaging in recreational activities, I wouldn't use traditional lube just because you're regular until you're not, bodies are weird, and charts are sometimes hard to interpret. I didn't quiz her on all of the specifics but my sister swears that she got pregnant with just -6 timing. So, it can happen when you don't expect it.

Like PP said, it's a sperm friendly lube. If you find you need lube for sex, I recommend it while TTC. It's kind of pricey but I personally like it so much I might keep buying it. FYI- A little bit goes a looonnng way.

I personally use it the entire FW since it seems to be more "down to business" than for fun and it helps. I highly recommend only using 2g instead of the recommended 4g or it's like a dripping slip and slide. DH thinks the half dose it much more enjoyable too
I agree with the less is more - I only use 1 also and it's plenty. I like it a lot more than other lubes, it feels more natural to me and DH has made a similar comment.
DD born PPROM preemie at 36 weeks on 10/1/17 after over a year TI, then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW, because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!

I've used it for most of the 9 cycles we have been trying as I can have limited fertile CM. It helps make things more comfortable etc, and won't hinder your chances. It hasn't helped me to actually get pregnant yet though.

I just got a BFP after using Preseed exactly 3 times during my FW. I'm pretty sure it was a combination of factors, including finally having a more accurate idea of my O date, but adding in Preseed definitely didn't hurt! I definitely agree with @SnobunnieMel 's slip 'n' slide analogy- don't use too much!
