Introduction to Me

Hello All - This is my introduction to you and your great support system. I have struggled with wanted to share with strangers in these past months, but believe I'm to the point now that no one I know wants to hear anymore!
I'm 34, DH 38 and we have been married for a year and a half (together for 7). TTC #1 for 18 months. I went off the BCP I had been taking for 14 years only to discover I probably never needed it! (I wish I had that money to pay for treatments now, geez). Anovalutory, too 3 rounds Clomid with + Progesterone check at day 21, but OB never did US, no luck. So, after more frustrating months of chasing a + OPK, I started at my RE. DH checked out ok last August.
Immediately she discovered I have PCOS! I'd never even heard of it. I started a Gluten free diet to gain control of something!ugh! and then had an HSG before starting Letrozole in Jan.
Jan 5mg Letrozole, HCG shot, US, Timed intercourse, 100mg Progesterone Supp.= BFN - same in Feb and March :-(
Then April we tried our first IUI, DH sample was not great this time, very discouraging after all those months. IUI#2 this month  and a much better sample with a 33mm follicle and currently in the TWW! phew - feels better to get that out!

Diagnosis: Anovulation from PCOSish without syndrome, Male factors - low motility and morphology issues

April-Sept. 2015 - Clomid and TI - BFN

Dec. 2015- HSG - Clear tubes

Jan., Feb., March 2016 - Letrozole 7.5mg and TI with HCG trigger= BFN

April, May, June 2016 - Letrozole 7.5mg and IUI with HCG trigger= BFN

September 2016 - IVF round #1;ER 9/26 with ICSI on 14 eggs - developed mild OHSS. 

Sept 2016 - 12 non-PGS embryos frozen (5 5AAs)

FET #1 Jan 16, 2017 - BFP!- MC at 6W5d

FET #2 May 8, 2017 - BFP! EDD 1-24-2018

    @JESSABER0414 I'm sorry you are having difficulty.   I know the waiting is difficult.  This whole experience seems to be about waiting.  Welcome!  Fx for bfp!

    TTC since 3/2014
    2015: 3 IUI's-BFN
    12/2015: 1st IVF cycle-(9 follicles retrieved, 5 mature, 3 fertilized w/ICSI, transferred 1 excellent and 1 good embryo on day 3)-chemical pregnancy
    3/2016: 2nd IVF cycle- canceled (3 follicles retrieved, 3 mature, all fertilized w/ICSI, 1 fragmented, 2 arrested) 
    3/2016: RE suggested donor eggs- taking an ivf break and to supplement 
    9/2016: 3rd ivf cycle-cancelled due to early ovulation
    Oct./Nov 2016: 4th ivf cycle- EPP-AFC:5, retrieved 10, 10 mature, 8 fertilized with ICSI, 6 blastocysts biopsied and frozen. 3 CCS normal embryos
    1/9/17: transferred 1 embryo-BFP 1/16
    1/18/17: beta #1-104
    1/20/17: beta #2-174
    2/2/17: first u/s, heartbeat of 107 at 6w1d
    7/20/17: baby boy born at 30+3 via emergency c-section

    Hello and welcome! I hope this month is the month you get your little miracle!! I'm currently in the 2ww on iui#2 with male factor infertility. 5 days in and I'm already going crazy! It's such a long wait.

    Welcome!  I'm sorry you find yourself here, but this is a great community.  Feel free to join in on the May IUI board and/or one of the beta/testing threads depending on when your TWW is up! :)

    IVF ER (July 2016) = 7 PGS normal embryos
    FET #1 (Sept 2016) = BFP! DD born 5/30/17
    FET #2 (April 2019) = BFN
    FET #3 (July 2019) = BFP! DS born 3/27/20

    Hello all I am also new.  I'm currently in the 2ww on IVF #3 with male factor infertility. We did a day #2 transfer and I'm currently 6 days in and seriously losing my mind!!! This seems like a great place to share stories and support for one another.

    Met 2008 | Dated 2010 | Married 2012
    TTC#1 since June 2015
    June 2016- 50mg generic clomid CDs 5-9 w/TI | 2 follies (14 & 12), thin (2.45) lining | BFN
    July 2016- 1mg estradiol CDs 1-7, 50mg generic clomid CDs 5-9 w/TI | 2 follies (14 & 10), thin (~4) lining | BFN
    August 2016- 1mg estradiol CDs 1-7, 50mg generic clomid CDs 5-9 w/TI | BFN | Referred to specialist, visited once, was told we have less than a 3% chance even on medication, recommended to IUI for up to a 50% chance, decided not to pursue at this time | Stopped "trying"
    October 2016- We became licensed foster parents
    November 9, 2016- Arrival of DD#1, 4yo
    March 1, 2017- 1 day late, feel like crap (low fever & exhausted) | Mom suggested test before taking meds, I laughed but did it anyway | BFP! *shock*

    Thanks everyone! Hope to have good news Saturday. No symptoms so far except the usual progesterone bloating. But not getting discouraged just yet. I'm about to ask my DH to hide the HPT from me until my approved testing day.  ;)
