I've read that it's normal to experience some cramping sensations during the early weeks. I had a mc last year and now every tiny little twinge has me nervous. Do you ladies have the crampy twinges?
I do! They make me nervous, too, but I've had them since BFP and my incessant googling says they're probably fine. The most comforting thing I read was, "cramping is the uterus' response to pretty much anything that happens to it." That made me feel better for some reason. Mine are super mild-I'd definitely call them twinges-and more frequent when I eat a lot.
I have been only slightly cramping and they've only started this past weekend and only at night. Nothing painful though. I experience a couple of pokes here and there but for the most part, nothing.
I thought for sure I was getting my period 2 days ago. No doubt in my mind. It was those pre-period cramps right at the pre-period time. I had them a lot in the last pregnancy (mmc at 11 wks) and honestly during the time I had cramping, things were fine. It was after the cramping lessened that we got the bad news. Of course this doesn't mean panic if it stops!
Also my sister is 15 weeks and she's been having cramps the whole time and baby is fine.
I've had cramping on and off for the past few days, but nothing major. My OB told me that unless it's bend you over, side-splitting pain, or only on one side, it's normal and not indicative of any problems. Keep in mind there's A LOT of stretching happening in there!
