Donating/ selling breast milk question

I have a large supply of breastmilk in my freezer and don't know what to do with it. Has anyone donated or sold their breastmilk? And if so, can you help explain the process? I read Frozen breastmilk should only last 6 months, and I don't want mine to go to waste.

    I have looked into donating it, but not extensively. I'm not sure you can sell it, but I know milk banks love it!

    I donated a ton of milk to the milk bank for preemies at Stanford hospital when we moved back to Oregon and didn't want to deal with transporting all that milk between states. I had to get a few blood tests done to verify my health status but it wasn't a huge deal. I would just google milk banks in your area and they'll walk you thru the process.

    If you go on local Facebook groups in your area like La Leche League, you may just find someone who needs it and you can cut out the middle man.
