1. I trach-ed a dying, thrashing cow while I was 7 months pregnant, thereby saving its life.

2. I spent the first seven years of my life in France and still prefer mayonnaise with French Fries. Also peanut butter is gross.

3. I am a black belt in karate.

@JKP7749 nailed it. Not a black belt in karate. I did do karate for years and was a in a super traditional dojo that only had white, brown and black belts and I JUST made it to brown when I quit.

@mars724 - guessed 2 was a lie. But that's true! I was visiting UCLA for a conference and I was out at Venice beach that day - it just happened that my bus stop was in front of the hospital he died at. It's one of the most bizarre experiences I've ever had.

3 was false. I majored in biochemistry and minored in music.

#2 was my lie. I don't think I even know anything about Celine Dion aside from the fact that she did that song from Titanic haha.

My two truths and a lie are:
1. I'm allergic to my own sweat.

2. We have a pet pig.

3. The first time I went on a plane was for my honeymoon.

I can't remember who guessed for me, but they were right. We don't have a pig, but we do plan on getting one when we don't live in city limits any more

Y'all had some crazy truths! I wish I had thought about it a little more and put something more interesting

I think @Mylitta and @ashanne88 both guessed #3 was my lie but it's true! This was circa 2007 in a semi dark bowling ally. Two preteen girls went up to my cousin that I was with and asked him if I was really her. Of course he lied and was like, yes, you should totally ask for her autograph! Imagine my surprise when two randoms run up to me with pens asking for a pic and an autograph. I just rolled with it. Why be a dream crusher?

My lie was #2. I wish....NKOTB was my life!

Nobody guessed my lie, but @canavara did get a truth! (H has recorded with him previously, and we run in the same circles as some semi-famous musicians due to his being in a "on the rise" band). My lie is #3! I have only been in (or seen IRL) 15 tornados, 5 of which occurred in the same day! (April 27th, 2011 @Emma61210 you might remember that horrible day)

Okay, since two people responded, I'll tag them both? @cjs260 said #1 is the lie and @mommywesley said #2 is a lie. #1 is the lie so cjs260 is right. I'm related to Van Damme through my mother's side (her maiden name was Van Vaerenbergh) and we're like fourth cousins or something. Also is it weird that my family can't produce both sexes? Like in my family if you have a girl then that's all you'll ever have or if you have a boy that's all you'll ever have.

I really want to know what happens when you're allergic to your own sweat. Dude, I'd be breaking out in hives every day in summer!

@Mrshuse525 Guessed right! I do not have webbed toes but I did have a co worker that had webbed toes on both feet - it was the two to the right of the big toe.

I agree with @canavara that we need to hear @josie3=5 story about the cow!!

@canavara and @ceclarlinetlo, in my previous life, I was a large animal veterinarian and taught at one of the east coast vet schools (I'm now a research analyst so my life has changed DRASTICALLY - for the better in work/life balance but my cocktail convo is nowhere near as interesting). I was often the emergency clinician on-call and this cow came into the hospital in respiratory distress. Couldn't find the cause of it, were about to take chest xrays when she acutely decompensated. I yelled at my tech to get me a trach kit while about 4 students bounced around the small radiology room trying to get away from the thrashing cow (all I could think about was not my baby but OMG, I'm going to get KILLED if she destroys the xray equipment - my salary can't cover this damage!). The trick to trachs and large animals is to wait until they collapse completely and then, because they can't breathe, do your trach while they're oxygen starved. Sounds awful but that's the only way you can get close flying hooves and a 1500 lbs of cow. My tech was amazing and was an extension of my hands, giving me everything as I needed it so I popped the trach in, and the cow took a huge breath while lying on its side before struggling to its feet. My students thought I was a damn rockstar but, seriously, all I did was make a hole in the trachea. If you're an emergency clinician, you do lots of weird shit on the regular.

The odd thing about that cow is we never did figure out WHY she was in respiratory distress. We managed her clinically and...she got better. We tried to take her trach out a couple of times and each time it was a disaster - then, after a week of therapy, she was just fine, went home and went back to her job. Cows are the toughest animals out there.

quite 3 yet. It was still 27 hours driving though. She was awesome the whole time!

Lie was number 2, we were in the same league, not the same team. I didn't even know who Kevin Costner was at the time. lol.

#3 was guessed as the lie but I actually can speak old english and middle english for that matter. I majored in English Literature in college and fell in love with old english poetry and the evolution of the English language.

The lie was #2 I have been to europe but only once we went to Italy, Switzerland, and Paris. We are hoping to get to Ireland and England before we are due in september so Fx.

I worked at a fine dining restautrant named Seven Glaciers for 5 years. It is a tourist destination/ ski resort on top of Mount Alyeska in Alaska

It was guessed that #3 is the lie.... but it's not. #2 is. I'd love to do a marathon, but my biggest issue is endurance. There is a palazzo in Italy named after my family (maiden name) in a town where we were elected governors. I'd life to visit it someday
