What size is baby? Zucchini, mango, 6 inches
Upcoming appointments? My anatomy scan is scheduled for June 17th. So far away!
Rants/Raves/Questions? My rave is that I finally started feeling movement last week! She squirms around in there all day long and it's the best feeling ever! My rant is that my belly is still not growing as much as I thought it would! I have a friend who was about the same pre-preg size as me, is nearly 3 weeks behind me, and her belly is so much bigger than mine. Not fair!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? RLP out the wazoo! Also some mild break outs on my face. Boo
ETA: I'm also noticing I can't work out as long/hard. Previously an hour of Zumba was nothing for me. I would hardly even break a sweat. Now, 30 minutes in and I'm whooped! It sucks!
GTKY: If you won the lottery (say something ridiculously large like the Powerball), what would you do with it? First, I would tithe on it. Not only because it's part of our belief system, but also because I think it would be funny to see the church try to explain to the congregation where the abundance of money came from. I'd save for retirement, kid's college, weddings, etc. Then we would sell our house, buy property in a nicer neighborhood and build a new house. And lastly, buy property in the mountains and build a log cabin get-away. There are other things, I'm sure, but those would be priority.

I have an appointment on the 31st, but they didn't bother telling me what it's for exactly. They didn't schedule an A/S or anything, so I'm guessing just a quick check?

I'm ready for my older kids to be able to feel the baby kick, they thought that was just the bee's knees when I was still pregnant with LO
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
Symptom- just feeling "heavy", like it's hard to haul myself around all day. I want nachos with an over abundance of peppers lately, and chili cheese dogs. I can not stomach the taste or smell of bone-in (specifically bone-in) pork chops. They somehow remind me of the smell of placenta after LO was born and it turns my stomach horribly (gross, I know, sorry!)
GTKY: If you won the lottery (say something ridiculously large like the powerball), what would you do with it?
First and foremost, set it up to where I only recieve x-amount per month throughout 30 years, or whatever the time frame they offer is. Then I would set up funds for each of my children. Then I would pay off my debts. Then after I took care of all of my adult responsibilities financially I would likely frivolously dote on my loved ones and complete strangers and donate to educational and research facilities, and TRUSTED charities. I would try to live a semi-"normal" life despite the wealth so my children don't grow up spoiled and entitled as they grow into adulthood. I would continue my education until they are grown for personal enrichment. Then as I'm older, probably go balls-out and live the extravagant, eccentric life I'm sure everybody predicted would eventually happen. Just being real, ya'll.

Buy or build a new house, Donate to a few charities, save for retirement and LO's future. Open up a business and try to live as normal as possible

I think I'm starting to feel flutters. I can't wait for real kicks so hubs can feel it too. Ranting that I don't have a pregnant belly yet, although I'm sure once I have it I'll be counting down the days to delivery.

I want a roast beef subs with mayo and pickles.

I would pay off my student debt along with my husband's debt and my dad and sister. I would finish the repairs on our house and then sell it to buy a house in a quit neighborhood (we currently live on a main road). I would be a stay at home mom for a few years and open a dog shelter for the dogs that get put down in other shelters for lack of space. I would also make sure my little snowflake was set up for life with everything she would need.
I just can't believe I'm at the halfway point. I remember seeing other people post that they were halfway there and I couldn't wait to get to that point.
I dreamt that I had my baby and totally neglected it.
Answering the lottery type questions makes me kind of stressed. Because I don't have that money. I would not want to go crazy with it though, and my husband probably would want to go all out. So it's probably best we don't have that in our lives haha. I like living simple.

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I have just accepted that I'm going to nauseous and vomit through my entire pregnancy. The bonus is that I guess I don't have to worry about weight gain? Ugh. I just miss wanting to eat like a normal person. I also keep dealing with random spells of shakiness. Not quite dizziness, just feeling unsteady and shaky.
GTKY: If you won the lottery (say something ridiculously large like the Powerball), what would you do with it? I would buy a house and a beach house and either buy or pay off the houses for my immediate family. I'd pay for my husband's parents and siblings to take a trip back to Germany together (it's been like 15-20 years since they have all been able to go together). I'd also start a Foundation to make medical research grants for innovative but risky medical theories by young scientists (this type of research doesn't get funded nearly as much as it should, and is our best bet for significant medical break throughs).

The size of an artichoke, sweet potato, croissant, sling shot, sugar glider, pear... 5.5in, 5-6oz

Seriously, where are they getting these tiny artichokes? An artichoke is totally bigger than a banana or a mango which is apparently the size of the next 2 weeks. Makes no sense

Bruised feeling to my pubic bone, it's really annoying, hoping it doesn't turn in to symphysis-pubis-dysfunction.

Split it evenly with our siblings. I know my husband doesn't really understand that idea but I couldn't stand to have my siblings ever ask me for money.
Keep my job, but probably move to part time.
Buy a house on the water.
Go back to school and keep going until I'm a doctor, either MD or PhD.
Have 5 kids guilt-free because I can afford private school and camp and college for them all.
In-home nursing care for our parents when that time comes.
Charity, especially medical and probably a trust for NPR/PBS.

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Still hating on Dunkin Donuts! Omg I was obsessed with this place and now just the smell of it as I pass one makes me nauseous. So Starbucks for the win! I'm loving their marriage with Teavana and their iced passion tea with lemonade. I crave it everyday.

(Stolen from Saturday) After making sure our parents are good and some friends, we would do charities, open animal sanctuaries and make sure our children are protected for their futures (not necessarily in that order, our children would come first lol).
