I have SI (sacroiliac) joint dysfunction, diagnosed serval years ago. So far this pregnancy it hasn't been bad. I'm 36+4 today and suddenly today I can hardly walk. It feels like my right si joint is unhinged and I can't put weight in that leg alone. Standing on both feet is OK, but walking is a nightmare. I'm a teacher and this upcoming week is finals, so I need to be able to walk (and thank goodness it's the last week of school!). I have a support belt, but forgot it at work on Friday. I plan to wear it tomorrow but I'm afraid that won't be enough. I'm seeing my dr tomorrow afternoon and plan ask her for suggestions then, too. Any of you lovely mamas have any suggestions for how to deal with the pain?
