How far along are you?  10 weeks!

How big is baby?  a Strawberry.

Appointments this week?  first ultrasound is this Friday 5/27/16. i'm so nervous and excited for this all to finally be "real".

Symptom changes?  fatigue is lessening up, i'm not having to go to bed at 8:30pm anymore! I thought the MS was decreasing as well then I spent most of yesterday hovering over the toilet so...maybe not.  i'm trying to take it day by day and taken to telling my stomach things like "keep this pancake down" after eating, at this point since meds aren't working, i'm willing to try anything :)

R/R/Q?  i'm starting to worry after this latest flood of mmc posts, not having seen or heard a heartbeat yet is making me crazy, the thought that I am 10 weeks along, suffering through pregnancy symptom hell, and it could all be a trick my body is playing on me, seems so cruel.

GTKY: What was your lifelong dream when you graduated high school (real and secret)?
I wanted to get married, start a family and be a clinical pharmacist. which I have now, so yay!  but my secret goal has always been to invent something cool, like a seen on TV product or something.

    How big is baby? Strawberry

Appointments this week? None this week. My next ultrasound is on June 1st.

Symptom changes? I wish the nausea would go away but not yet! Still sick all the time which makes me feel weak and exhausted from not eating properly. Hopefully it'll go away soon?

R/R/Q?  I'm getting excited to start telling people in a couple of weeks! I've been flaking out of a lot of social stuff because of feeling crappy,  so it would be nice to explain myself.

@zubenescamali I'm feeling worried after reading the recent posts too! Trying to stay positive, but the thought that these symptoms may not be a good sign afterall does seem very cruel.

GTKY: What was your lifelong dream when you graduated high school (real and secret)?

I was always excited about starting a family. Now that it's finally happening in my early 30s....I'm hoping things continue well and I can't wait for this next chapter!

@zubenescamali I have the same fear and I've all ready had an ultrasound. I think it's common to worry about it especially, like you said, with all these posts. I hope your ultrasound gives you alittle piece of mind :)

    How far along are you?
    9 weeks :)
    How big is baby?
    Size of a cherry
    Appointments this week?
My second appointment is this Tuesday
    Symptom changes?
Nope, still feeling crappy all the time. I thought my nausea might be getting better because I felt not as bad on Wednesday last week but then Thursday and Friday I felt like total crap :/
    R/R/Q?
Dh and I are going new living room couch shopping today.  Really excited but I kinda just want to stay home and lay around and feel crappy in the solitude of my own house lol. I'm really hoping it doesn't take too long...
GTKY: What was your lifelong dream when you graduated high school (real and secret)?
I wanted to be an artist and work on art restoration.

@zubenescamali, I have the same fears as well, and like @mimi603107 I've also had my first US/appt. and everything checked out well then.  Hang in there, and I hope that your appointment this week goes great!

    How far along are you?
     12 Weeks

How big is baby?  Chicken Nugget, Minecraft Pixel, or a Passion Fruit

Appointments this week?  I have two, one on Tuesday with my regular OB and then one on Thursday with a MFM specialist (referred because I'm AMA).

Symptom changes?  I was exhausted earlier this week, which may have been because of all the travel I did the past week or so, or it might have been because of the meds I'm taking for nausea.  In any case, it seems to have gone away (knock on wood).  Still feeling a decent amount of nausea and/or heartburn.

R/R/Q?  I'm so tired this morning.  I had trouble falling asleep last night, and I'm trying to retrain our eldest DS (3.5) to sleep in his own bed.  I ended up sleeping on the floor in his room half the night to make sure he stayed in his own bed.  It feels like such a baby step, but at least he stayed in it for the most part.  I'm paying the price today though.

GTKY: What was your lifelong dream when you graduated high school (real and secret)?  When I graduated high school, I wanted to go to vet school.   My secret dream was to become a writer.

@zubenescamali - I didn't realize there were so many other pharmacists in this birth month club!  Every day I seem to find out about another one!

How far along are you? 10 weeks today

    How big is baby?  strawberry

Appointments this week?  None this week, my next one is on 6/6.

Symptom changes? Starting to feel some round ligament pain, but everything else has been pretty consistent.

R/R/Q?  Nothing new, just work stress and planning right now (although my DH and I are at slight odds about childcare after my maternity leave - he is VERY anti-daycare, which is my preference, but his parents live almost an hour away, so it's not the most convenient situation.  My parents are three hours away from us so they aren't an option.)

GTKY: What was your lifelong dream when you graduated high school (real and secret)?  I'm doing exactly what I said I would be doing in my high school yearbook, but I can't really say being a pharmacist was my lifelong dream.  Probably a secret one would be to be a writer (childhood ambition, I was always coming up with stories as a kid!) or to own a bakery (this one is a little more recent!)

How big is baby? Plum, kiwi

Appointments this week? Nope. N/T scan is May 31st.

Symptom changes? I'm probably jinxing myself but I'm feeling so much better. I still have my moments but it's not 24/7 nausea anymore, which is such a relief. I'm still battling ridiculous exhaustion each afternoon and insomnia at night and the heartburn's getting worse by the day.

R/R/Q? We close on our new house on Tuesday and I can't freaking wait. Although we haven't even kinda started packing :/ Thankfully we don't close on our current house till mid-June, so we've got time, but the thought of packing everything up is so overwhelming, especially considering how exhausted I've been.

GTKY: What was your lifelong dream when you graduated high school (real and secret)?

I'm pretty much living it. More than anything I wanted to get married and be a SAHM. Although I do work (very) part time, it's also in my dream field, real estate. I've been obsessed with housing for as long as I can remember and went to school for interior design. I truly love my career, even though it's taking a backseat to my family for the time being. My secret ambition was to be a photographer for a magazine like National Geographic, traveling the world taking pictures.

GTKY: What was your lifelong dream when you graduated high school (real and secret)?
Honestly to get married ASAP and start a family... But 11 years later we are just starting our family and in the meantime I found my way into teaching and then academia which I am now so passionate about!

@squiddy224 I've been a pharmacist for 12 yrs, I spent the majority in a clinical specialty seeing patients in follow ups but last year decided to make the jump to management. It's a new kind of stress but every day offers a new challenge which keeps me interested.  What kind of pharmacy are you in?

@zubenescamali - I'm in home infusion.  I started out in long term care right out of pharmacy school but it just wasn't for me.  Most days I like my job, it's more clinically focused than a retail position, but it does have its ups and downs!
