Rant- baby is still in my uterus after multiple failed attempts at eating pineapple, having sex, walking and climbing stairs. Don't judge me. Lol.
Rave- Spring ice show is OVER!!!! So happy it's done! I'll post pictures of the costumes as soon as I get them from the coaches
Symptoms- ridiculous heartburn, peeing all the time, and more heartburn
What are you doing to prepare for baby?
DH and I are just enjoying these last few weeks of it being just the two of us. Trying to relax but get her out at the same time.
GTKY: What is one event/memory that you wish you could go back and relive all over again?
2011 skating nationals. I had worked my butt off all summer and all season long, in hopes that I'd actually make the podium that year. I never thought that I'd actually sweep all three of my events and come home sporting 3 gold medals. I've always looked at results from the bottom up, because as a kid, I'd rarely make podium. So to see my name at the top and see those straight 1st place ordinal a seriously were one of the best moments in my skating life.
Rant/rave/symptoms? Rave: the sun is shining. It's a beautiful day. I'm so over the rain. Symptoms: restless leg, heartburn, tired, just flat out uncomfortable.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Just trying to get my house deep cleaned and clutter free.
GTKY: What is one event/memory that you wish you could go back and relive all over again? I don't know. I'll come back to this one.

Rant: Hardly slept last night due to a really dry/scratchy throat and nausea. Vomitted while taking the dog out, which I'm sure was a lovely sight for the neighbors.
Rave: Witnessd the marriage of a couple last night that we are very close to, it was a nice wedding.
Symptoms: Aside from the above mentioned ickiness, heartburn and peeing a lot
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Finishing up laundry and installed the car seat base yesterday.
GTKY: What is one event/memory that you wish you could go back and relive all over again? A time when I didn't feel like crap.
Rant/rave/symptoms?
Rant: I'm so over this shit.
Rave: Finished the hospital bag today! With the exception of phone chargers and the like, anyway.
Symptoms: Meh. Lack of sleep. BHs. Super infrequent contractions.
What are you doing to prepare for baby?
We're basically set. I finished packing the go bag today. I also spent about half an hour bouncing on the exercise ball and went to Target mostly to walk... I'm fine if he stays in another week or two, but I'm hoping to coax him out of my ribs..... I want to breathe again.
GTKY: What is one event/memory that you wish you could go back and relive all over again?
My wedding reception was a damn blast. I'd love to relive it one more time.
Rant/rave/symptoms? Rant: Can I be at 40 weeks already? Everything is becoming uncomfortable... Rave: This is my last week of work, EVER! ONE MORE MONDAY!! I actually have work to do too which should make the week go by faster. Symptoms: All the heartburn, BH's are picking up in intensity but not necessarily in frequency.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Nursery is done, need to finish the hospital bags (DH needs to pack his too), got some nursing clothes/bras, got a prescription for a breast pump so need to order that this week, and just washing a few more baby clothes.
GTKY: What is one event/memory that you wish you could go back and relive all over again? My whole honeymoon. So much fun and adventure! And I could eat and drink everything!

Rant/rave/symptoms?
Rave: It's the last week of school! Yay!
Rant/Symptoms: Horrible si joint/ lower back pain so bad I can hardly walk. Shooting pain and headaches up the left side of my head. Yep, so ready to have my body back and this little girl to be here safe and sound.
What are you doing to prepare for baby?
Hospital bag is packed. Nursery is set. Car seat is installed but needs to be checked. Also working on finalizing our to name choices and making good progress.
GTKY: What is one event/memory that you wish you could go back and relive all over again? Probably would have to be my trip to Europe last summer with dh. We spent 2 weeks traveling to Paris, Munich, Zurich, Como, and Milan. It was the trip of a lifetime that dh and I reminisce over all the time. Hard to believe a year ago I was packing my carry on and suitcase and today I'm packing my diaper bag and hospital bag.
Rant/ raves/ symptoms: woke up for a BM/ puking session at 4 am. I guess that falls into the symptoms category too as well as the horrific PUPPPS all over my stomach! My children can all pitch their pennies when they are older to buy me a replacement stomach because this one is shot. Rave I have been waiting a couple of weeks for my irises to open and today 6 were open when I woke up, it made me really happy.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? I'm seriously hoping my hubby will put the crib up and do the car seat tonight. I guess that's the difference between the first time around and the second lol.
GTKY: I would repeat my European excursion again. I was over there with my bestie exactly 6 yrs ago, right before I met my hubby.
Rant/rave/symptoms? Just uncomfortable at this point. SPD is a bitch. It's hard to breathe when I lie down. And last night I woke up in the middle of the night with the most intense stabbing hip pain I've ever felt. Hoping that doesn't return!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Just focusing on work in the hopes that I can relax a bit when baby comes
GTKY: What is one event/memory that you wish you could go back and relive all over again? When DH and I went on a multi-day hike in the mountains right after finding out I was pregnant with our first. It was incredibly beautiful and a great bonding experience for us to just be completely out of touch with the world for a bit at that point.

Getting closer! I've been having lots of BH, contractions, peeing constantly, lightening crotch like no other and I've become incredibly emotional the last week.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Since I quit work 2 months ago, I've had extra time to get ready in between taking care of DS. I have pretty much everything done. My mom is coming today and will stay until baby arrives. We're planning on spending time the next few weeks planting the garden and flower beds, deep cleaning and maybe cooking some meals for the freezer.
GTKY: What is one event/memory that you wish you could go back and relive all over again?
This is tough! There are so many great moments I'd love to go back to. Maybe my favorite would be our wedding and reception. I hated the wedding planning and coordination but loved everything about our wedding. Every time I hear our wedding songs, I still tear up. I always ask DH if he'll marry me again someday because it was so fun. Lol
Rant/rave/symptoms? Peeing all the time, Braxton hicks contractions, extreme lower back pain, swollen feet, legs & fingers, I've also turned into a total b**** & I wish I could sleep for 48 hours straight lol but on the plus side last week at my OB appointment she informed me that I was 1 cm dilated & 50% effaced. I know that doesn't amount to a hill of beans but it somehow gives me hope that maybe I will get to meet my baby boy soon & I can finally have my body to myself again
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Everything is ready clothes & equipment wise, now I'm just trying to mentally prepare myself for being a single mother of a two y/o & a newborn!
GTKY: What is one event/memory that you wish you could go back and relive all over again? As crazy as it may seem, I wish I could relive giving birth to my daughter again. Seeing her for the first time will forever be my absolute favorite memory & experience ♡
Rant/rave/symptoms? Rant-I'm sick of the rain and not sleeping. Symptoms- Been having lots of contractions today and just feeling blah...so I'm a little worried he might be coming soon. I want him to cook til at LEAST 37 weeks.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Finished buying everything for him last night.....that was a nice kick in the pants.
GTKY: What is one event/memory that you wish you could go back and relive all over again? Hmmm I think either cruise I went on with my H. We went on one for our honeymoon that was wonderful and we met another great couple, and then we went on one for our 5 year anniversary that was very relaxing and fun.

I'm once again not sleeping well, even woke up H last night with my tossing and turning and that NEVER happens.
Got some indigestion/heartburn, not sleeping, more contractions happening randomly.

I really can't think of one specific thing. We've made lots of fun memories as a family that I'd love to do again...road trips, fairs, trips to the beach...
