I'm still here!! They scheduled c-section on June 9 because the top one is breach. I'm just hoping he'll flip before then.
Symptoms: I'm pretty miserable, lots of BH, very sore muscles, very swollen, just pain!! It sucks, too, because I can't really shop or anything. I'm still working but I cut back about 8 hours a week.
i think the bulk of what I need to do is done but we still need to set up the bassinet, the swings and the bouncers. I wish I was able to do more with nursery but that will have to wait until I can get around better!!
BH contractions, slight swelling, indigestion, and pelvic pain in the evenings. Nesting urge is still in overdrive so I'm having a hard time taking it easy, but my husband is finally done traveling for work until after these babies arrive, so I have more help with the toddler. The freezer is full of premade meals and snacks (only a few left to finish up), and we're getting the nursery furniture next week.
At my ultrasound on Friday, Baby A was so far down in my pelvis that it took 45 minutes to get the correct angle for a head measurement. That was after I walked around to wake the baby up and tilting the bed head down to help slide the baby out of my pelvis.
They're both head down, so we're just waiting for them to decide when they're ready to make their appearance. I can't wait to find out what they are (team green)!
Im 36 weeks today, i can totally relate to the BH, swelling, pain, heartburn, insomnia and just plain exhaustion! Ive been working from home for the past few weeks and my back and hip pain jave been much better.
I have more to do with the nursery but at this point i need so many breaks, so my husband ends up doing most of the work. just need to get all the newborn clothes down from the attic and clean them, then get the mini cribs set up in our bedroom (we plan to let them sleep in our room for the first 3-6 months), set up the swings, and finish packing our hospital bags.
Have my doc appt and nonstress test tomorrow, so we'll be scheduling my induction for sometime in the next 2 weeks, in case they dont come earlier than 38 weeks. Trying for vaginal delivery assuming my blood pressure stays down and no additional complications.
@colesmom33 sending positive thoughts on baby A flipping for you! Have you checked out spinning babies? I did that with my first and she did end up flipping!
I thought about that but I don't know if it works the same with twins.
I'm guessing there wouldn't be any room at this point. My girls went head down and stayed at 16 weeks, I think they just got stuck there lol. Didn't save me from the c section though lol.
Hi! 36w4d with b/g twins. Overall doing well, definitely not sleeping much, some acid reflux, swelling.... In for my NST now and my BP is slightly elevated so they did blood and urine tests (all came back fine) so just waiting on the doc to give me some instructions. Long morning! I've still been working and pretty active so maybe time to slow down a bit!!
Re: Any multiple mamas left?
any twin mamas left?
