Rhythmic Spasms

So this week, I've had a couple instances where I feel intense twitches/spasms in my stomach that last a minute or two. They are quicker and more intense than hiccups and also higher in my stomach (where a foot might be). I don't recall anything similar in my first pregnancy and wondering if anyone else has had these and what they might be?

I asked my OB and she said, and I quote "totally normal. Babies make all kinds of weird movements in there. She's probably practicing her dance moves, whip nae nae maybe?"
ive had it several times now, but since she told me not to worry, I'm not.

If they are at the same interval and intensity then they are most likely hiccups from what I have been told.

I had it as well. Midwife says totally normal. Kinda like how once out of the womb babies make weird movements, they do it inside too.

This happens to me every night in bed
I was just thinking it's too fast for hiccups. I just say he is in there beating his drum.. it is weird and for a while I thought something was wrong with him but all my ultrasounds are good so I quit worrying but it does get kinda annoying at bedtime.

I agree with PP. definitely annoying at bedtime when you're ready to pass out. Im pretty sure what im feeling is her kicking her legs. If she takes after her dad, she probably has restless leg syndrome and cant keep still.
