I've washed all the dishes, done two loads of laundry and helped the kids build a fort where they are currently both playing in with flashlights. I'm hoping this buys me a couple of hours of quiet so that I can veg on the couch and 'rest my eyes'.
We are going to a brthday party for our nephew at an indoor trampoline gym. It's going to be suspicious that I am not jumping because I have always jumped with them in the past.

Is it really recommended to not even do trampolines while pregnant? I knew amusement park rides were out but that really sucks. I guess there's the risk of falling, but if you just kind of jumped in place it wouldn't be too big a deal would it?
We were up bright and early for prenatal blood work. Then we went to the Flower Market at the mall and picked up a ton of fresh herbs, plants, and flowers. It's really cloudy here today, so I'm taking advantage of the time for a nap before date night. Tomorrow we'll get all the plants in the potters/ground. It's supposed to be absolutely gorgeous weather here!
I am not sure if trampolines are out in general, but I dont think it would be good for me. I have a condition called inappropriate sinus tachycardia which just means my heart rate gets really high without much effort and I'll have heart palpitations (so I always have to avoid caffeine). I just know from previously jumping with them my heart rate will get up to 180+ and I have read that during pregnancy you should try to not let your heart rate get above 120-140.
@Lecool I got up at 6:30 but fell asleep again at 10:30! Then I got a random burst of energy and cleaned the house.
in other random news, my new pregnancy journal came yesterday, @cabu14 ! I love it. It's a free-form writing journal, with really loose prompts; I know that's not for everyone, but it's perfect for me. Plus, the illustrations are gorgeous. This was like $13 on Amazon. (sorry for huge photos, I am mobile bumping)
I had to go to a funeral earlier today for my Uncle's (by marriage) dad. We are a very close family so I grew up knowing him as another grandpa sad morning.
Now im home laying in bed and ready to take a nap!! Haha! And headed to a friends birthday cookout tonight. Bring on the bug spray!!
My daughter was up bright and early this morning and DH went to go hunting/help a friend put up a fence on his land. I've done laundry and cleaned out all of my DD's clothes that are too small for her. Hoping to get out to Target and get some things to organize the billions of toys we have all over the house. I've been researching ideas all morning but if anyone has any creative ideas for toy storage please share!

I'm relaxing during DS's nap and listening to the Hamilton soundtrack. It's such a gorgeous day that I can't wait til nap time is over so we can head out to art-a-whirl and eat some food truck food, check out art studios and hear some good music. Feels like summer!

I'm outside with DD enjoying the beautiful weather. I was able to nap when she was so I'm feeling pretty ok. Could go for another nap but we'll see how the day unfolds
I got up walked the dogs, then hubby and I walked over local bridge/causeway. It was a nice 35 min walk. Then came home took a NAP. Woke up went to Target and just got back home. I should be packing since we move next month, but no desire. Maybe tomorrow
@kellybean1988 Oh that one looks cool! All the ones I saw were too scripted and too many questions! Thats why I created my own. I didn't even think to order online!! I think I'm too impatient for that haha

@canavara I never thought about jumping on a trampoline pregnant, I don't think it would pose any risks unless you have an existing condition or falling. But with all this increased urination, I'd totally pee my pants.
We have to get our garage painted before the end of the month per our insurance and DH is leaving town for two weeks on Monday but of course when he have time it's been raining all day and is supposed to continue through the week. I'll probably be out there trying to deal with it while DD naps next week, or asking our neighbor to do it in exchange for baked goods or something (which sounds better than myself doing it.)
I think my in laws are getting suspicious that I'm pregnant. Only my MIL knows so far but we keep cancelling plans with assorted siblings because I don't feel good enough to put up with them.
@rocksinthewater I really want the Hamilton soundtrack--how is it? I've heard great things
today was the first day I've had time for a legit nap. Like turn on a movie and tell the kids to leave me alone for an hour. It was amazing. And I am still tired

I've been lounging in between chores all day, soooo tired. But I'm not a napper, I napped on Thursday and woke up sick as a dog from it total bummer

We looked at flooring today to re-do our main floor.. um so excited we were actually able to agree on something. Still left the store without the purchase.. but man are we getting closer!!! Soon I won't have 4 different types of flooring on my main floor!! Woop!!!

@cabu14 Yay for new floors! We need new flooring upstairs desperately. Our house was built in the late 80's, when apparently it was the style to put different carpeting in each room. And the previous owners took that a step further and painted the walls to match the carpets. So our master bedroom is aqua. And the other rooms are baby blue and bright pink. Yes, Bright pink carpet.

@lecool I LOLed IRL when you said matching carpet/paint ahh! That would kill me - Like how could they even think that is OK?? haha.. our house was built in 1973.. and yes three different carpet types and the walls were allllllllll wallpaper.. big pink roses.. cat borders.. green flowers.. It was so bad.. the bathroom was this dark purple flowery wallpaper. That did not last long and I love my husband for his dedication to seeing it through while I was working late last year!
One bedroom still has wallpaper but that room is kind of a cluster of boxes we still haven't unpacked and we've been here for a year and a half..... Yep..cant believe I admitted that..

Stupid rough Friday. Had a great cousins night planned, dinner and a movie...get there late due to a highway entrance being closed and realize I left my purse at home. Ugh. Cousin covered me and I'll pay her back...then leave the movie to find my van was towed. W.T.F. was parked behind other cars on a curb, totally allowed in our state, and zero signs saying no parking...ugh. Tow lot is closed on weekends. So I'm stuck at home till Monday. I called the place and complained, they said a no parking sign was painted on the road...uh no. Maybe years ago, but me and all my cousins couldn't make out any paint. Sooooo, lovely $300+ fee to get it out of the impound on Monday. I've been trying to not get too emotional about it, but I just cry thinking about it...ugh.
It's okay @cabu14. We've owned our place for two years and we still have our carpet and walls like that upstairs. Also, I just bought a love seat for our formal living/dining room, a room that takes up one entire side of the house...and it's the first piece of furniture in that entire space. TWO YEARS.

Been feeling so sick that I've stayed in bed yesterday and today until 3pm. SO is out of town so it's just been me and my sick self at home. Finally felt a little better this afternoon and cleaned the living room and washed a load of clothes. Everything is just so tiring.
And I've got to look at houses on Monday cause we are looking to move out of this apartment.
@ceclarlinetlo I took DS to a trampoline park yesterday for toddler time! He had so much fun on the trampoline and I am super sore from bouncing with him but it was worth it for sure. I figure skated until about 16 weeks with my last pregnancy. Our babies are still so small that they have lots of protection around them still.
I slept for 10 hours last night. It was the most amazing thing ever. I think my long day of driving, shopping, and hanging out with some friends until 9:15 (I know, crazy late) really took it out of me! On the bright side I got to see my friends 1.5 week old daughter and she is just ridiculously adorable. So it was worth it for sure.
Yay its the weekend! I wanna sleep in, but I'm awake now. I don't normally wake up this fast mentally... ugh. Played tennis last night (not well, but it's fun) and realized that I was getting winded when I shouldn't be... took a bit more effort than normal to play
This will be our 2nd baby. 7w1d and I don't know what i was thinking. H is one of the worst husbands and father's on the planet. Cases more about his dog than me and DS, calls me a B**** every single day in front of him. Told me the other day he only agreed to have a 2nd baby to make me happy and he doesn't want one and it will cause him to get less attention. I constantly feel sorry for my DS for not having a good dad and now I'm bringing another child into this world with a worthless father. It's all my fault!
Sorry you're going through that @jessbray5. I don't really have any advice to offer, but wanted to say that it's never okay for anyone (especially your husband) to call you names like that in front of your son.
Me: 28 | DH: 31 Together since 2006 | Married May 2015 TTC #1 since November 2015 BFP 5/17/16 | EDD 1/27/17 | Born 2/4/17
@jessbray5 Your situation does not seem healthy for you or your son. Are you able to talk with a professional and get some help? Would your husband be willing to do some counseling?
I've been so sick all weekend. I've hardly kept anything down today and the anti nausea meds I was prescribed make me so tired. This is not cool. I'm trying to get as much rest while my husband is home to take care of DD. Currently in bed sipping gingerale.
@jessbray5 - I'm sorry you are going through that. I second the suggestion for counseling if your DH will agree to go. In the meantime try to not beat yourself up about this new baby - that won't do anything to help either of you. Just focus on things you can do. We're all here to support you. There are lots of options for help - don't lose hope.
@jessbray5 I don't have anything new to add... just reinforce what PPs said. I am so sorry that you are dealing with this. Counseling would be great. For both if you if possible, only you if he won't come. Blaming yourself won't help anyone. Do what you can to influence what you can control...
I went to a baby shower for my friend today and ended up being asked to be the person who records what she got and from whom. It is amazing what pregnancy can do for your mood at a baby shower! I think being asked to do that when I was ttc would have been hard.
