Hi, I'm lurking from the June board. I'm almost 37 weeks and have been in hyper nesting mode all weekend. I'm talking on my hands and knees scrubbing the floors, bathrooms, baseboards, etc. Basically the whole house. Did any of you notice a correlation between this and when labor started?
Re: How long after nesting did you go into labor?
I had multiple rounds of intense nesting and still had to be induced in the 41st week.

LO isn't gaining weight properly, so every other hour I'm having to wake up LO, breast feed for 30 min. followed by pumping for 15, cleaning equipment, and feeding pumped milk. Basically, it takes 1 - 1 1/2 hours to complete these steps, so I only get 30-60 minute breaks between cycles. I'm exhausted and have no time/energy for anything else.
Getting back to OP's question, there's no link between nesting and going into labor. If there was, I wouldn't have a LO yet because I never really nested before LO was born - DH did the nesting late first trimester.
It was a lot of work but the cool thing is that the house really came a long way as did all the various projects, food, etc.
