Down to three boy names...care to weigh in?

Hi! DH and I are expecting a baby boy any day now, and we have not quite decided on a name yet. We will probably end up choosing the final name once he has arrived, but we would like to get some outside opinions since we are not sharing our list with family/friends. Baby will be joining big sister Cora, and our surname is German, one syllable, and begins with a T. Michael is a family name and will be the middle name.

August Michael
Alexander Michael
Zane Michael

We both like all three full names, though we are in complete disagreement regarding nicknames for August and Alexander. He loves Augie, I much prefer Gus. He is all about Zander, and I don't care for any of the usual nicknames for Alexander. :-/

I like Alexander but would hesitate to use it if you don't like any of the nicknames for it, so I voted August. I don't think it's that big of a deal if you and your husband use different nicknames but maybe that's just me. Not a fan of Zane.

Alexander but it will be natural for him to be called Alex.

I agree with pp that it doesn't matter if you and your husband use different nicknames. But I do think it matters of you don't like any nicknames at all for a name as big as Alexander. I love August (my DH vetoed, ugh). Team Gus too, fwiw.
